Hi, I’m Linn. If you’ve found your way here, you might be carrying stress, loss, or uncertainty, and you’re ready for things to feel different. My role is to walk beside you with compassion, curiosity, and clear tools for real, lasting change. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who blends evidence-based practices with mindful, soulful presence. I integrate approaches that help you calm your nervous system, understand your emotions, and reconnect with your natural capacity for healing. My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative, rooted in deep respect for your individual journey. In our work together, we’ll look at what’s happening on the surface and beneath it, exploring the patterns, beliefs, and emotions that shape how you relate to yourself and others. I often draw from mindfulness, body-based awareness, and Internal Family Systems to help you find steadiness and clarity from the inside out. I support teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and grief, including the complex grief that follows suicide loss. My approach is both practical and deeply human: together, we’ll work toward relief in the present while cultivating resilience, purpose, and meaning for the future. Most of all, therapy with me is a safe, non-judgmental space where all parts of you are welcome. Healing isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” with you, it’s about remembering who you are and discovering new ways to live from that truth. If you’re ready to begin that journey, I’d be honored to walk with you.

Hi and thank you for your consideration. Please note, I currently only see clients who are insured by Kaiser. Relationships with professors led to my providing therapy as an undergraduate student majoring in Community Service at University of Oregon. After receiving a Masters Degree in Social Work, the majority of my career was working 23 years for the National Center for PTSD. I had the extraordinary experience of creating my own job description as a Health Scientist in the emerging field of Disaster Mental Health. Over the course of these years, I responded to more than a dozen Presidentially-declared catastrophic events. At first, I worked with survivors or next-of-kin. As a first responder, I learned what every first responder learns when working with people in need. Without intention, we receive more than we give. It is, if you will, sacred work. It has long been important to me to conceptualize what I am trying to achieve professionally. Toward that end, I published research, published guidelines to practice, etc. Eventually, I became a national, and then international consultant regarding emergency response policies, be they federal, state, county, or institutional. In 2018, I received a Fulbright grant to continue the work I began in Ukraine, following the revolution in 2014. In 2022, I began offering telemental health therapy and have been enjoying the work and the progress with my clients.

I aim to create a calm, sturdy, trustworthy, emotionally grounded, and radically nonjudgmental therapeutic space where you can be deeply curious about your own experience. A patient space where you can take your time. A space where you can slow down, breathe, reflect, be silent or quiet. A space where you can be loud, angry, triggered, upset. A space where you don't have to make sense, but we can make sense of things together. Education: B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from Northwestern University, Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Wright Institute.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker—my license is LCSW #128274. I hold a Master of Social Work and a Doctor of Social Work from the University of Southern California. I became a therapist because I’ve always wanted to help people through tough times. I saw friends and family struggle with anxiety and loss, and I realized a kind, steady presence can make a difference. So, I studied social work, got my license, and learned tools like cognitive therapy and DBT to support folks with depression, trauma, or stress. Now, I’m here to listen and walk with you—simple as that. I’m looking forward to hearing from you as we go. My focus is on supporting people through depression, anxiety, trauma, and life’s tough stressors. I’m here to walk alongside you, and I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts as we go. I might nudge you to notice what’s working, using a strength-based lens, or help you reframe a stuck thought with cognitive tools. If emotions run high, we’ll use DBT to ride the wave, or ACT to find peace with what’s hard. It’s practical yet heartfelt—like we’re building a toolkit together, tailored to you while honoring your pace. You’ll leave feeling a little lighter, a little more hopeful, and never alone in it.

Hi, I’m Albert. I’m a Licensed Psychotherapist with more than a decade of experience. I help people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or hard on themselves learn to understand their patterns and make choices that align with what matters most. Therapy with me is collaborative and active. We use CBT and mindfulness to work with thoughts, emotions, and habits. We bring in trauma-informed care when relevant. We can also explore meaning, values, and purpose if that fits you. The goal is not a stress-free life. The goal is a life you can stand behind with clarity, courage, and care for yourself and others. You set the direction. I provide structure, tools, and steady accountability. If this resonates, book a first session. We will map what’s not working, define what you want more of, and take one practical step right away.

I help couples and individuals to navigate turbulent times to find their innate vitality and loving relationships. As a couples therapist, I can help you move beyond patterns of arguing and conflict. You will learn how to communicate and express yourself and be heard and received. I also help couples who are striving to find a path to either stay together or move in. I also guide individuals with financial and/or time constraints to move towards a life balancing family, work and personal passion. I have decades of experience helping people achieve a healthy, happy long life filled with joy and connection. When we work together, I listen to your story. I bring decades of experience, but you are the expert on your own life. I’ll do a deep dive to understand how your symptoms affect you. My role isn’t to diagnose or label you. Instead, I offer invitations to explore new perspectives, try different approaches, and gently challenge the patterns holding you back. I feel confident about my abilities to help you to move forward into the life you have always desired. Therapy can be a daunting experience. I appreciate your courage in pursuing help. I always bring a sense of playfulness to the journey. Things can be hard and still be fun. I look forward to hearing from you.

Search therapists by insurance

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by California rather than a city like LA?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across California from San Francisco to San Diego! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in California.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

What are the "Clients say I'm" badges?

Grow Therapy asks patients about their experience with therapists after they have had a certain number of sessions. After enough responses, we add those characteristics to their profiles to help you find the best online therapists for you. We're still working on collecting this information from all our therapists.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What to expect during your first session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs.

Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
