Therapy can be a unique opportunity to work through and resolve obstacles that are preventing you from leading the life you truly deserve. I provide a safe and supportive space to facilitate emotional well-being, healing and growth. I utilize an interactive approach and will challenge you when needed. Therapy can be short-term or long-term depending on your specific needs. I work with individuals, couples, and families. My areas of speciality include anxiety, complex traumas and chronic pain.
In our first session together, we'll begin by getting to know each other in a safe, supportive environment. I'll ask you questions about your current challenges as well as relevant parts of your history, so I can better understand your unique story. From there, we'll work collaboratively to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals and supports your growth.
Many therapists like to stick to one modality, and that can be fine. But I believe that the greatest service you can do for clients is to provide them with as many treatment options as possible. After all, what may work for one person may not work for another.
As a therapist, I specialize in working with motivated individuals navigating chronic health issues and challenging life transitions. My clients are often eager to make meaningful changes but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or anxious about relationships, career, or their overall direction in life. Together, we work to build the tools and insight needed to foster resilience, reduce stress, and create lasting, positive change.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can be helpful with increasing awareness of the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. CBT teaches one to identify and challenge distorted thoughts and reframe them into healthier ones.
