As a Licensed Professional Counselor with NCC and ACA credentials, I have been providing mental health services and guidance to diverse population for over 10 years. I have experience working with clients with a history of traumas including domestic violence and childhood traumas. I have a private practice and I am also a board member at Great Oaks Charter school, where I support the academic and social-emotional development of students from low-income and undeserved communities.
Our first session is typically a "getting to know you" where clients are encouraged to ask questions and we will discuss the therapeutic modality that will be utilized in session.
Having worked with a diverse population over the years I believe my greatest strengths are (1) I am a very good listener (2) I am empathetic and compassionate (3) I am never judgmental
I enjoy working with clients who have had past or current traumas and are feeling stuck. I will provide guidance and support at every step of the therapeutic journey until my client accomplishes his/her goals.
