(she/her)
Hi, I’m Rebecca. Starting therapy can feel a little scary or uncertain, and that’s completely normal. I’m here to meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and help you make sense of your experiences. Together, we’ll explore patterns in your relationships and life, reflect on what’s important to you, and find ways to move forward with confidence, clarity, and a sense of hope.
In your first therapy session, we will focus on getting to know each other, discussing your goals and concerns, and establishing a safe, comfortable environment where you can begin to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
My background training in communication helps me understand how relationship patterns develop, where miscommunication happens, and how dynamics like manipulation or emotional abuse can impact a person’s sense of self. This combination shapes how I approach therapy. I enjoy helping clients make sense of these experiences so they can move forward with greater clarity and confidence. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping you build insight, confidence, and meaningful change in your life and relationships.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, rumination, and overthinking patterns that can feel exhausting and difficult to turn off. Many of my clients describe feeling “stuck in their head,” caught in cycles of doubt, mental checking, and worry that interfere with their ability to feel present and at ease in their lives. I also specialize in supporting people navigating relationship challenges, including feeling misunderstood, emotionally disconnected, overly responsible, or caught in repeating patterns that feel hard to change. Many of the individuals I work with are highly self-aware and insightful, but still find themselves repeating the same emotional or relational cycles despite understanding them logically. My approach is grounded, collaborative, and supportive. I focus on helping clients reduce the intensity of anxious thinking patterns, step out of rumination loops, and build more trust in their own internal experiences. Together, we work on increasing clarity, emotional regulation, and a stronger sense of stability in day-to-day life. In addition to symptom relief, I also pay attention to the relational and attachment patterns that often underlie anxiety and relationship struggles. My goal is to help clients not only feel better in the short term, but also develop more secure, connected, and fulfilling relationships over time. I strive to create a space where clients feel understood without judgment, while also being gently challenged to step out of unhelpful cycles and move toward meaningful change.
