(she/her)
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming—especially if you’re worried about being vulnerable or judged. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely safe, supported, and accepted just as you are. At the same time, I gently help guide you toward growth and healing in a way that feels manageable and meaningful. I’ve worked with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, family conflict, trauma, and the many challenges that can come up during adolescence and adulthood. Together, we’ll move at your pace, exploring tools and strategies that truly fit you so you can better understand yourself and feel more confident in handling life’s difficulties. I see this as a collaborative process—you don’t have to figure things out alone. As part of your team, I’ll support you in discovering what works best for you and in creating the changes you want to see in your life.
In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and understanding how I can best support you. I’ll ask some questions about what’s bringing you to therapy, as well as different areas of your life, but you’re always welcome to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to open up all at once. My style is relaxed, and I often use gentle humor to help create a more comfortable and welcoming environment. We’ll also begin talking about your goals for therapy so we can start building a plan that feels right for you. By the end of the session, many clients leave with a clearer sense of direction, a better understanding of how we’ll work together, and often a few practical tools or perspectives they can begin using right away.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely supported. I balance a warm, nonjudgmental approach with a focus on growth, helping clients feel safe while also making meaningful progress. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, while also incorporating emotion-focused techniques to deepen understanding of emotional experiences and build a stronger connection to oneself. This combination allows us to work both practically and emotionally—developing skills while also exploring the “why” behind patterns. I also incorporate creative approaches, such as using tarot as a projective tool when appropriate. This can help clients explore thoughts, feelings, and perspectives in a different way, often opening up new insights and deeper self-reflection. At this time, I work with individuals only and do not offer couples therapy. Above all, I see therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to find what resonates most with you and supports the changes you want to make.
I am best positioned to work with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or trying to better understand themselves and their patterns. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, family conflict, or the lasting impact of difficult or stressful experiences. Clients who tend to benefit most from working with me are those who are open to both exploring their thoughts and emotions and learning practical tools to create change. You don’t have to have everything figured out—I work well with people who may feel unsure where to start but are willing to be curious and take small steps forward. My approach is a good fit for individuals who want a balance of support and skill-building. This includes those who appreciate a collaborative, down-to-earth style, a touch of humor to ease the process, and opportunities to look at things from new perspectives—including creative or reflective approaches when helpful. Overall, I work best with individuals who are looking not just to talk about their challenges, but to better understand themselves and actively work toward meaningful, lasting change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients address how unhelpful thoughts influence their emotions and actions and vice versa. I have a lot of experience using CBT to address depression, anxiety, and depressive symptoms as well as with issues of self esteem and even in relationship issues.

Jc is lovely and definitely had some good things to talk about but I'm not sure we were exactly on the same page. I've been looking over other providers and i think there might bed some more fitting options for me.
