Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will focus on getting to know each other and identify what success looks like to you. We will explore what steps you have already taken to address your struggles and develop a plan to move you closer to your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I aim to create a comfortable and trusting space where you can show up as your true self. I blend strong clinical training with honest, down to earth conversations to help people make sense of their experiences in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming. My approach supports people in reconnecting with their strengths, understanding what matters most, and building a life aligned with their values.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are navigating major life transitions, including starting or finishing school, shifting careers, entering parenthood, or redefining their relationships. They’re often carrying the weight of old patterns shaped by childhood trauma, family dynamics, or toxic relationships, and are ready to break cycles that no longer serve them. I truly enjoy helping individuals to build healthier, more fulfilling relationships with partners, friends, family, and themselves. My work is neuroaffirming and gender affirming. I support clients in understanding their nervous system and honoring their identities. Together, we explore how trauma shows up in the present, strengthen communication, reduce avoidance, and create sustainable patterns that support long‑term wellbeing.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT focuses on helping you live a life aligned with your values through the use of mindfulness skills, exploring how your thoughts impact you, and then creating space where you can take steps that reflect your values.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have completed intensive training in DBT. These skills help individuals get off the roller-coaster of emotions, reclaim control over their lives, and navigate difficult social situations.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness skills to help you learn understand how your body responds to different emotional states and to help calm distress. We will also explore on focusing your mind on what is happening currently, rather than worrying about what could go wrong in the future or what has happened in the past.

Motivational Interviewing

Through motivational interviewing we will explore your goals while building on your personal motivation and strengths.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I am certified in Trauma-Focused CBT, an approach that centers on building skills to help an individual learn the skills to calm their body, explore unhelpful thinking patterns, and process trauma.
