Hello, I'm glad you're here. My name is Felisha and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), residing in Michigan. I am licensed as a counselor in Michigan, Connecticut and Wyoming. My goal as a counselor is to provide you with a safe and compassionate space where you can find peace, healing, and hope. While this journey is yours, you do not have to face it alone.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we usually start by going over the basics like scheduling, policies, and how therapy works. But more importantly, my goal is to meet you where you are—creating a safe, comfortable space for you to share your story, experiences, and anything you’re dealing with. I’m always happy to answer any questions you have so you feel as at ease as possible as we begin this journey together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is the ability to genuinely understand and connect with my clients on a deep emotional level. This empathy helps me create a safe, supportive space where people feel truly heard and validated as they explore whatever’s brought them to counseling. Together, we build a real, authentic relationship that supports healing, self-discovery, and personal growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have extensive experience working with clients across the lifespan, from early childhood to adulthood (ages 2 to 50+), representing diverse cultural backgrounds and identities within a variety of communities. I am passionate about supporting motivated individuals seeking meaningful change and inner peace in their lives. My expertise includes assisting clients who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and struggles with self-esteem. I am committed to providing compassionate and effective support tailored to each person’s unique journey.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I believe that each individual is unique and special; therefore, I prefer an eclectic and collaborative approach to counseling; developing the treatment plan to reflect your unique needs. I often utilize EMDR, strengths-based, person-centered, parts work, & cognitive behavioral methods.

EMDR

I am trained in EMDR, which has been deemed effective in treating many areas of personal distress such as anxiety, and PTSD.
