I attended Southern Connecticut State University and the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. I have over 50 years of treatment experience. I specialize in solution focused and strength based treatment. My areas of expertise are Individual, Couples and Family Therapy and Parenting Coaching. We are incredibly grateful for the impact Richard has had on our relationship. He helped my wife and me get back into a loving, healthy dynamic and gave us the tools and perspective to better understand and communicate with each other. From the very beginning, he created an environment where we both felt heard and respected. He never took sides and made a genuine effort to understand each partner’s perspective, which allowed us to build a high level of trust throughout the process. .

While intelligent and well spoken and provided good advice he spent the majority of the session doing the talking. I’m looking for someone who will allow more of a dialogue , process content and connect the dots . Just not a good fit for me.
