Accepting new clients for Jan 2026! Welcome. I’m glad you stopped by. Reaching out to a therapist can be scary and you have taken the first step. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or a major life transition, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and regain a sense of control. Whether you’re overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or simply not feeling like yourself anymore, support can help you build healthier coping skills, shift unhelpful patterns, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
It is important to me that you are comfortable so in our first session, we will talk about what you hope to get out of therapy, past experiences with therapy that you did and did not find helpful, create an individualized care plan, and what works best for you for follow-up sessions as we work together in achieving your goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
With over 30 years of clinical experience, I have worked with people from all walks of life. I offer a warm, safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Sessions are collaborative and paced to your comfort. We’ll focus on perspective, self-compassion, and developing practical tools to help you reduce symptoms and strengthen your inner resilience.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I really enjoy working with individuals who are motivated to make changes in their lives, gain insight, improve their mental health and want to be the best version of themselves they can be. Together, we will work through feelings of doubt, anxiety, fear, sadness, and whatever emotion comes along. I want to be fully transparent, I am currently not accepting clients who have thoughts of self harm or harming others. If you feel this way, please call Lifeline, 988, go to any emergency room or call 911. “Suicide doesn’t end the chances of life getting worse, it eliminates the possibility of it ever getting any better.” – Unknown
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT techniques to help my clients identify and develop positive coping skills, change unhealthy behavioral and thought patterns, and empower them to take an active role in their healing.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I utilize DBT techniques to help my clients build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthy self-care and interpersonal skills. I walk with clients as they learn ways to manage intense feelings and find a path forward that allows them to heal.
Eclectic
I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to treatment. I see each client as a unique, whole person and prefer to work collaboratively to build on their strengths. I am trained as a Systemic Family Therapist but as my practice has developed over the years, I have found value in pulling from other modalities to meet my clients needs including Gender Affirming therapy, Culturally Sensitive therapy, Compassion Focused Care, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

I appreciate that Aimee was very non judgmental when discussing a very sensitive topic . She also helped me think of some solutions to the issues I’m working on, which I appreciated. She’s easy to talk to .

I only met once with Aimee, but her kind and encouraging demeanor and broad knowledge was very helpful in this meeting. Honestly, I felt like Aimee was more helpful in one meeting than others have been in several sessions.
