Do you feel weighed down by anxiety, depression or trauma? As a skillful mindfulness therapist, I have been helping people feel more balance for years. In addition, I have helped many feel less trapped by their trauma and the negative thoughts about themselves using EMDR. Change is not easy sometimes and we will go through it with love towards self. It is our self-doubt and often our lack of confidence in our basic goodness that hinders our progress. I have helped many find the self-compassion needed for self-healing and with that a much more mindful approach to life. I have been down the road of mental health challenges. There are many ways I used therapy technics and mindfulness practice to help develop a much more balanced self. I am confident I can help you find the richness in life that you deserve.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In session, the client is encouraged to take the reins while the therapist acts mainly as a guide with a non-judgmental view that includes a genuine empathic approach. We will explore the therapeutic approach that best fits the goals that you want to achieve.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I take 2000 years of Eastern philosophy and the best of Western psychology to help the client develop healthy mental stability. Research indicates mindfulness works well in therapy and the mediation models are what I know best. We know that trauma affects how we think about ourselves and how we react in the world. In sessions, we use EMDR to heal past hurts and apply the many mindfulness practices to truly find contentment.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I think the ACT model is very helpful for treating anxiety and other issues around unhelpful thoughts. I have also treated many clients using this method.
