Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a former Middle School Counselor. I am currently in training to become a Registered Play Therapist. I received my Masters Degree from the University of St. Thomas. I enjoy helping children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults become the best versions of themselves despite dealing with life's obstacles and daily challenges. As a therapist my ultimate goal is to help my clients transform from a caterpillar to a butterfly.
In our first session, my goals are for the client and myself to briefly introduce ourselves, make sure that the client understand their rights and responsibilities, and gain clarity on why the client is in need of therapy.
My greatest strengths as a provider is understanding my clients background, strengths, and areas of improvements as well as getting the client to make a connection between their past, present, and how to become their best version of themselves moving forward.
I love working with children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and/ or trauma due to negative past experiences, low self- esteem, identity issues, stress, anger, etc. . My goal as a therapist is to support my clients by helping them reach their full potential.
