New clients continue care with this provider

I hold sessions in the afternoons and night between 2:30 pm and 2:00 am Central Standard Time. The calendar here does not show sessions after 9 pm. If you would like to meet after 9 pm, please sign up for a session here, using any day/time and then message me though the interface with your needs/wants to schedule at a different time. I have been a therapist since 2015 with experience working with adolescents and adults suffering from trauma, grief, depression and anxiety. I have been honored to help people with a broad spectrum of backgrounds, circumstances and severities of trauma and concerns. Some examples: I have been the trauma specialist at juvenile detention centers, worked at Children's Advocacy Center, worked with those with chronic pain and long-haul covid, worked with those trying to resolve current struggles and wanting help with their mental health. I have a holistic viewpoint and believe in a mind-body-spirit connection of wellness. I believe in being in the moment with you, where you are, and will work at your pace towards your journey of healing and growth and I will help you with setting and working towards goals. Thank you for considering me to be your therapist. I look forward to joining you on your journey.

I am honored to work with any age of adult who is seeking to work on their trauma symptoms. persistent depressive disorder, and general anxiety. I have experienced traumas and am a Covid Long-hauler living with chronic pain. I grew up in the country (rural setting) and have a deep affection for all beings (well, okay... maybe not ALL..... I struggle with some insects such as Fire Ants. I also am a work in progress.) I know finding someone to talk to may be scary or stressful with so many choices out there. My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I am present in the moment with you. I believe along this journey of life, we all may find moments where we need support, encouragement, and guidance to help us along the way. Person-centered therapy (PCT) is my foundational interaction with others and it fits my personality and core beliefs. I am here to be with you and guide as needed.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I have experienced that CPT helps foster more realistic and positive thoughts. it is integrated into naturally into my sessions to help address negative self-talk and other thoughts that are not helping with growth and healing.

Gestalt

Gestalt techniques can be useful to help explore and open up to self-expression as well as help in releasing stuck thoughts and emotions. It is integrated in my practice naturally.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness techniques integrate well with my approach and can extremely beneficial to help promote and foster peace and calm within. It helps bring us to the moment and help reduce stress.

Eclectic

Utilizing techniques from the gambit of therapy treatment methods open us up to exploring and trying things that may help with the healing journey. I have listed above the main methods and will use other techniques as needed.
