(she/her)
Hello, my name is Edna, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with more than 15 years of experience supporting individuals through life's challenges. I am passionate about helping people grow, heal, and reach the goals they set for themselves. I believe everyone deserves support during difficult times, and I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I work with individuals across many stages of life, including children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and goal-oriented. I enjoy helping clients build healthier coping skills, improve self-esteem, strengthen communication, and work through life changes that may feel overwhelming. I understand that reaching out for help can feel difficult, but you do not have to face challenges alone. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, supported, and confident as they work toward a happier and more fulfilling life.
In our first session, we will take time to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your current challenges, your goals, and the support you are looking for. I want clients to feel comfortable sharing at their own pace, and together we will begin creating a plan that supports your needs and personal growth.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to listen with compassion and understanding. Throughout my years of experience, I have worked with individuals from many different backgrounds and life experiences. I understand that life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I believe everyone needs support and guidance at different points in life. I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel safe discussing difficult emotions and experiences. I work collaboratively with clients to help them identify goals, develop coping skills, and improve their overall emotional well-being.
I work well with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults who may be struggling with life transitions, emotional stress, or mental health concerns. I have experience supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, hyperactivity, self-esteem concerns, communication difficulties, conflict resolution, and adjustment to major life changes. I enjoy helping clients who are seeking guidance, emotional support, and practical tools to improve their mental health and daily lives.

I love Edna. She’s always interested in learning about me a situation and life in general. She doesn’t really ask direct questions. She forms it into just flowing sentences and it makes me feel like we are talking like friends. She’s wonderful.
