Greetings! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from Our Lady of The Lake University. I have served in counseling services for 10 years. By our Most High Yah's grace, I get to help adults and adolescents struggling with trauma obtain an emotional sense of security when life stressors have disrupted their way of being.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session together will entail us sharing a brief introduction, and then identifying the areas of difficulty that are creating barriers for you. This will help us to work collaboratively to devise an effective treatment plan to render the best possible outcome

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked as a counselor for 10 years my clients will find that I believe in the Most High Yahweh and that I can do nothing without him. I will never force my beliefs upon anyone but I will always assert that whatever good comes through me is only because of my HIM. I strive to love everyone with every waking day of my life and every client will be treated with the utmost dignity and respect no matter their life story.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I have trained in EMDR for over 4 years and have found this treatment to be effective with individuals whose lives have been impacted by very stressful events. This trauma can prove to be debilitating for military veterans, individuals who have survived sexual assault and or molestation, active shooting in the workplace, and accidents that led to the premature death of colleagues, family, or friends.

Couples Counseling

I've worked with couples for 10 years, and no two are ever the same. We work collaboratively to improve marital conflict, pre-marital counseling from a Follower of Christ perspective, divorce, and co-parenting resolutions, and discover methods to improve their ability to obtain effective communication.

Eclectic

I have learned when assisting others working through the years with symptoms of grief, anxiety or depression various techniques from different modalities have lent itself to the client's healing and recovery one life at a time.
