Hi there! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor (LPC-S). I've worked in behavioral medicine for over 15 years and worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I strive to implement empirically proven treatment methods. I am passionate about working with each of my patients as unique individuals to meet their specific needs and goals for becoming their favorite selves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Someone once asked me, "Ashley, what is the number one thing that brings people to counseling?" I laughed and answered, "PEOPLE. People bring people to therapy!" We've all heard that adage: "People go to therapy for the people in their life that WON’T go to therapy”, and it's funny because it's absolutely true! As a professional counselor, I have never met someone who didn't have a story. Everyone has PEOPLE! Everyone has family struggles and relationship issues. Everyone has trouble processing emotions when they feel overwhelmed. Everyone needs someone to confide in and feel safe with, and that's what therapy can be for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe it's never too late to become the version of YOU that you've always wanted to be. Investing in yourself is never a wasted effort, because you bring a "better you" everywhere you go! Regardless of your background, your past, or what people have told you, you ARE worth all the time, effort, and energy. So when you're ready, I'm here to help!

I've spent many years working with children, teens, young adults, couples, and families. I have specialized training in some of the most difficult family and marriage relationship issues. As a former foster kid, I feel very comfortable with various issues brought to therapy by couples and individuals of all ages. I *DO* have more openings, so please feel free to message me to inquire directly about openings and scheduling. I'm always ready to help however I can!
