You are the expert of your own life—your experiences, feelings, and thoughts are invaluable guides to your mental well-being. In my practice, I take a Whole Health approach to counseling, supporting you in a way that honors your unique needs. I believe that true change comes from nurturing every aspect of your life, including diet, exercise, sleep, and more. My goal is to help you unlock your potential and cultivate lasting growth, using your insights as the foundation. If you’re ready to invest in your mental wealth, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My path to becoming a mental health provider began with a deep curiosity about the human experience and a genuine desire to help others find meaning and healing in their lives. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand how life’s challenges can impact our well-being, and I saw the profound difference that compassionate support can make. These early experiences inspired me to learn more about how we cope, grow, and ultimately thrive, even in the face of adversity. As I continued my education and personal growth, I became increasingly drawn to the field of mental health. I was captivated by the resilience and wisdom people bring to their healing journeys. I realized that being a provider would allow me to walk alongside others as they navigate their unique paths, offering guidance, encouragement, and evidence-based tools to support their goals. What truly motivates me is the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and transformation. I am honored to help create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make positive changes. My journey as a provider is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and a commitment to whole-person care, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to support others.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is all about creating a welcoming, comfortable space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. We’ll start by getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to counseling, as well as any hopes or goals you have for our work together. I’ll ask specific questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and what’s most important to you right now. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable—there’s no pressure, and everything you say is treated with respect and confidentiality. We’ll also talk about my Whole Health approach, which means looking at all aspects of your well-being, including things like sleep, nutrition, exercise, and stressors. Together, we’ll begin to identify areas you’d like to focus on and discuss how I can best support you moving forward. Above all, my goal for our first session is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to take the next steps in your journey. If you have any questions or concerns, I encourage you to bring them up—I’m here to make this process as comfortable and helpful as possible for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Creating a safe, supportive environment is at the heart of my practice. I strive to communicate with warmth, empathy, and respect, ensuring that you always feel heard and valued during our sessions. My approach is collaborative—I see our work as a partnership where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are central to the process. I encourage open and honest dialogue, and I’m here to listen without judgment. You can expect me to be attentive, compassionate, and genuinely interested in understanding your perspective. I use clear and straightforward language, and I welcome your questions at any time. I also believe in maintaining a sense of hope and possibility, even when things feel challenging. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to explore new insights and make meaningful changes at your own pace. Laughter, encouragement, and celebrating progress—no matter how small—are all part of the tone I set in our work together. Above all, I want you to know that this is your space, and I am here to support you every step of the way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are navigating anxiety, depression, infertility, and trauma. Anxiety: If anxiety is making it difficult to enjoy life, manage daily tasks, or feel at ease, I provide a safe space where we can explore your worries and learn practical tools to calm your mind and body. Together, we’ll work on understanding your anxiety, challenging thought patterns, and building coping skills so you can regain a sense of control and peace. Depression: When depression leaves you feeling stuck, hopeless, or disconnected, I offer support and evidence-based strategies to help you rediscover motivation, rebuild self-worth, and find meaning again. We’ll work together to identify small, manageable steps toward healing and celebrate your progress along the way. Infertility: The journey through infertility can be isolating and emotionally exhausting. I provide an empathetic space to process your feelings, navigate difficult decisions, and cope with the trauma that can come with fertility challenges. I have coined the term Infertility Traumatic Syndrome and work specifically with how trauma can affect fertility. My approach honors your unique experience and helps build resilience. Trauma: If you’re struggling with the impact of trauma, I use trauma-informed approaches to help you feel safe and understood. We’ll work at your pace to process your experiences, restore your sense of safety, and support your journey towards healing.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with other evidence base therapies that I believe may match your needs. CBT is a wonderful tool that can help you identify and challenge any unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that contribute to your emotional distress. We will work together to reframe unhealthy patterns (typically formed by trying to stay safe) and develop coping strategies that produce meaningful change. CBT is a wonderful way to empower you to understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This creates gentle, positive changes, while managing symptoms you have more effectively. This approach is practical, goal-oriented, and has been shown to be effective for a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression and trauma.
