Malu Campanico

LMHC3 years of experience

I help people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves find clarity and momentum again. My clients often describe our work as a mix of therapy, neuroscience, and real-life strategy — delivered with genuine warmth and a sense of humor that makes even the hard stuff feel doable. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as an executive in the pharmaceutical industry, where I learned how stress, performance pressure, and constant “doing” can take a toll on the mind and body. That experience shaped how I practice today: grounded in science, but always human. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, or burnout, my approach blends depth with practicality — helping you heal, laugh, and rebuild from the inside out. You’ll leave each session feeling seen, lighter, and more in charge of your own story.

First session

Our first session won’t feel stiff or clinical — think more coffee chat than interrogation. We’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you, where you’d like to go, and how we can get there together. You can expect honesty, warmth, and probably a laugh or two. My goal is for you to leave thinking, “That was easier than I thought — and I actually feel hopeful.”

Strengths

I help people rebuild from the inside out — with science, soul, and strategy. My background in executive leadership and trauma therapy gives me a rare lens: I understand both high performance and deep healing. Every session is designed to move you forward — practical, full of humor, heartfelt, and transformative. Clients describe my sessions as grounding yet electric — a space where insight becomes momentum and change actually lasts.

Ideal clients

My clients are the kind of people who keep it all together on the outside but feel like they’re running on empty inside. They’re kind, thoughtful, and capable — yet constantly second-guessing themselves or carrying everyone else’s load. They come to therapy not because they’re “broken,” but because they’re ready to feel like themselves again.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT in a way that’s dynamic and deeply human — not just thought charts, but real transformation. Together we identify the patterns that keep you stuck, rewire the way your brain responds to stress, and build tools you can actually use in real life. My clients often say it feels less like therapy and more like finally understanding how their mind works — and learning to love it.
