Together, we will discuss your needs and explore how we can work towards transformative healing.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) as an evidence-based, collaborative framework to help my clients identify unhealthy thoughts in order to restructure and reframe related emotions and behaviors that contribute to distress.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT’s skills-based, validation-focused approach to help my clients reduce emotion-based behavior and increase effective decision‑making. Two core DBT tools I emphasize are mindfulness, to observe internal experience, and emotion regulation skills in order to aid more positive emotional responses. Fact‑checking is integrated as a concrete cognitive step within these skills.
