Tracy Mark
I strive to create a warm, supportive space where children, teens, adults, and families can feel safe exploring challenges, gaining insight, and moving toward meaningful change. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who works with individuals and families navigating concerns such as anxiety, trauma, parenting challenges, behavioral difficulties, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, and solution-focused strategies while also honoring the powerful connection between the mind and body. I believe healing happens when we consider the whole person—thoughts, emotions, relationships, and physical well-being.
First session
I want clients to leave their first session feeling heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I prioritize creating a safe, collaborative space where clients can share at their own pace. Together, we will begin exploring what brings them to therapy, what they hope to change, and what support might be most helpful. My goal is for clients to leave with a clearer sense of direction, a feeling of connection, and reassurance that they do not have to navigate everything alone.
Strengths
My style is warm, nurturing, and collaborative. I aim to meet each client where they are and tailor therapy to their unique needs and goals. Whether helping a child build emotional regulation skills, supporting teens through life’s pressures, or helping adults better understand patterns in their relationships and emotional responses, our work together focuses on developing insight, resilience, and practical tools for lasting change. I also bring extensive experience working with foster and adoptive families. This background has given me a deep appreciation for how our earliest relationships and childhood experiences shape our sense of safety, connection, and well-being throughout life. In therapy, we often explore how these early foundations influence present challenges while building healthier patterns moving forward.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are individuals who want to better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I enjoy working with children, teens, and young adults as they navigate emotional regulation, life transitions, relationships, and the challenges of growing up. I also enjoy supporting adults and families who may feel overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, or unsure of how to move forward. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, with an emphasis on understanding the whole person, building on existing strengths, and developing practical tools for meaningful, lasting growth.
