I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate stress, trauma, life transitions, and emotional burnout. My approach is warm, practical, and goal-focused and I work to create a safe space while also helping you develop real tools you can use in everyday life. I’m especially passionate about supporting people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or carrying responsibilities for everyone else, and I believe meaningful change happens when insight and action come together.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what’s been going on in your life. You don’t need to prepare anything or have the “right words.” This is simply a conversation where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’d like to change, and what you hope life could feel like moving forward. By the end of the session, we’ll start mapping out a clear direction and some next steps so you leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is that it’s both supportive and practical. I’m not the kind of therapist who just listens and nods—I help you understand why you feel and react the way you do, and I give you real tools you can use between sessions. Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be honest without judgment while also making real progress in their day-to-day lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work well with high-functioning adults—especially men—who are used to holding everything together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stressed, or disconnected underneath. Many of my clients are dealing with anxiety, depression, past trauma, burnout, relationship struggles, or the pressure to always be strong and provide for others. You might feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to talk about what you’re going through—and that’s okay. If you’re ready to do more than just vent and truly grow, we’ll be a great fit. My goal is to give you a real, judgment-free space where you can be honest, understand your patterns, learn practical tools, and start feeling more in control of your life again.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients who feel stuck in negative thinking cycles transition to positive thoughts feelings and behaviors which helps combat depression and anxiety. Furthermore, I use this treatment method to help clients process past traumatic experiences and move towards being in a space of emotional safety.
