LPC, 8 years of experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas since 2018, providing mental health and behavioral counseling services. My work is grounded in the belief that every individual has a unique life story, and our present experiences are often shaped by what we've encountered in the past. I also believe that our thoughts and behaviors influence how we engage in relationships and perceive the world around us. I approach therapy with a deep respect for each person's cultural background and life experiences, maintaining a strong commitment to multicultural awareness and sensitivity. My therapeutic style is integrative and client-centered—I believe that you are the expert on your life. Together, we’ll explore patterns of behavior and uncover the core beliefs that may be contributing to current challenges. My role is to support and guide you with empathy and encouragement, helping to build self-awareness and make sense of past experiences. Mental health is a journey. Feeling lost now doesn’t define your future. It takes courage and strength to pursue a more meaningful and fulfilling life. If you’re ready to take that step, I’m here to walk alongside you—offering support, encouragement, and empowerment every step of the way.
The first session is all about getting to know each other in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. We’ll begin by exploring what brings you to therapy, what you'd like to work on, and any goals or hopes you have for the process. I’ll also ask questions about your background, current challenges, and any previous therapy experiences to help me better understand your unique story. This session is also a chance for you to get a feel for how I work and ask any questions you may have about therapy. There’s no pressure to dive too deep right away—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. By the end of our first session, we’ll discuss potential next steps and collaborate on a plan moving forward, based on your needs and preferences. Whether you're feeling nervous, uncertain, or hopeful, you are welcome just as you are.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and heard. I bring deep empathy, active listening, and cultural sensitivity into every session. Clients often share that they feel safe opening up with me, even when exploring difficult or painful experiences. I take an integrative and client-centered approach, meaning I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. I believe you already possess the internal strengths and resources needed to create change—my role is to help you access and build on them. Together, we’ll work to identify patterns, explore the root of concerns, and develop strategies to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
My ideal client is someone who is open to self-exploration and ready to engage in meaningful change, even if they’re feeling unsure about where to start. You may be navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck or disconnected. You may also be trying to make sense of past experiences that still impact your present. I work best with individuals who are curious about their inner world and are willing to explore patterns, emotions, and beliefs with honesty and openness. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just a willingness to show up, and take small steps toward growth. Whether you're highly motivated or struggling to find hope, I meet you where you are, offering support, guidance, and tools to help you move forward.
