Warm

I provide a warm, nurturing, and faith-honoring space for young adults in their 20s and first-time moms who are navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and major life transitions. I specialize in supporting individuals who often carry the emotional weight of expectations, responsibilities, and caregiving—while quietly struggling to care for themselves. For young adults, therapy can be a place to process academic pressure, identity development, faith questions, relationship challenges, and the emotional overwhelm that often comes with stepping into adulthood. For first-time moms, I offer compassionate support through the emotional shifts of motherhood, postpartum adjustment, self-doubt, and the desire to remain grounded in both faith and self-care. My approach gently integrates Christian and Catholic values for those who wish to include faith as part of their healing journey, honoring the mind, body, and spirit. Whether you’re seeking calm amid racing thoughts, relief from emotional heaviness, or a renewed sense of purpose and confidence, I walk alongside you with empathy, understanding, and encouragement. Together, we’ll navigate the tides of life and create space for peace, healing, and renewal. I welcome you to begin your journey toward finding your own mental oasis—even in the midst of life’s waves. 🌊 Sessions are available in English and Spanish.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a welcoming and supportive space where we focus on getting to know you and what led you to seek therapy. You’re invited to share your story at your own pace—there is no pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we’ll explore your current challenges, clarify your goals, and identify what you’d like to work toward—whether that’s emotional balance, confidence, spiritual grounding, or healthier relationships. I’ll also explain my therapeutic approach and answer any questions you may have so you feel informed and comfortable moving forward. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in genuine connection. I draw from attachment-based, emotionally focused, humanistic, and positive psychology frameworks, with the option to integrate Christian or Catholic counseling when desired. Sessions are personalized, compassionate, and practical—designed to support college students and first-time moms as they navigate emotional challenges, identity shifts, and faith-centered values. Clients often leave sessions with greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence to face life’s challenges with renewed clarity, hope, and resilience. I also offer care in Spanish, creating a culturally responsive and affirming space for bilingual and Spanish-speaking clients.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with young andults and first-time moms who are experiencing major life transitions and feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stuck. Many struggle with self-doubt, identity changes, perfectionism, or the pressure to “hold it all together,” which can impact their relationships, faith, and daily functioning. My clients are seeking a safe, values-aligned space to process emotions, strengthen coping skills, deepen self-compassion, and reconnect with their sense of purpose. Ultimately, they want to feel emotionally balanced, spiritually grounded, and empowered to live with intention, peace, and fulfillment.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I use attachment-based theory to help clients understand how early relationships shape the way they connect with others today. By exploring those patterns, we can strengthen their sense of security, build healthier connections, and create more fulfilling relationships—with themselves and others.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients understand the deeper emotions driving their thoughts and behaviors. Together, we work on identifying emotional patterns, strengthening emotional awareness, and fostering safe, supportive connections in relationships. EFT allows clients to heal from disconnection and develop new ways of relating that promote closeness, trust, and emotional safety.

Christian Counseling

For clients who wish to include faith in their healing process, I offer Christian counseling that integrates biblical principles with evidence-based therapeutic approaches. This allows clients to explore emotional struggles, strengthen their relationship with God, and find peace and direction through both faith and psychology. My goal is to support each person’s spiritual and emotional growth in a compassionate, nonjudgmental space.

Humanistic

I use a humanistic approach that focuses on each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and inner potential. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where they feel safe to explore who they are, what they value, and how they want to grow. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and a stronger sense of purpose.

Positive Psychology

I integrate positive psychology principles to help clients recognize and build upon their strengths, resilience, and capacity for joy. Through gratitude, mindfulness, and growth-oriented practices, clients learn to shift from simply coping with challenges to thriving and finding meaning in their daily lives. This approach encourages hope, empowerment, and lasting well-being.
