My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We will develop strategies to change unhelpful thinking patterns, which can reduce anxiety and depression.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Problematic situations can leave you feeling sad, anxious, angry, confused, or stuck. We will explore your goals and strengths, and work towards a solution to help you achieve peace of mind.

Motivational Interviewing

If you are concerned about increased alcohol or drug use, or other addictions, we will work on strategies for reducing harm and risk to your well-being. Whether you are thinking about cutting back or achieving abstinence, I will help to motivate you and provide you with tools to reach your goals and improve your health, safety, and quality of life.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

Trauma can be debilitating and cause a person to feel stuck in their thoughts and feelings about past experiences. Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma will help you to move forward with stability and renewed purpose.

Attachment-based

Our early experiences with caregivers shape the way we experience adult relationships. Disorganized attachment styles can result in maladaptive ways of viewing ourselves and others. Attachment-based therapy focuses on healing the emotional wounds from early relationships and eliminating codependent behavior patterns. This work fosters the healing that is required to have have healthy adult relationships.

Her voice was very calming. The fact that she asked questions to find out the root of my trauma meant a lot to me. I loved her style hair and clothes helped my mood.
