My saving Grace has always been movement. I loved the way it made me feel-free and calm, and movement has always been part of my life even during 4 pregnancies and keeping up with my 4 children, and now my grandchildren. Over time, I was introduced to mindfulness, stress reduction and relaxation (which I didn’t realized how much I needed) and Yoga. This allowed me to calm my mind and focus.

I’m a therapist who helps individuals untangle anxiety, heal from trauma, and build a stronger, more compassionate relationship with themselves. My style is warm, grounding, and collaborative. I believe every person deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges.

My orientation is client-centered, meaning that you and I are equal partners in navigating the struggles you are going through. My approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), and humanistic approaches.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania with 18 years of professional work experience. In May 2023, I completed my studies at the University of Miami, and was awarded a Doctor of Education Degree (Ed. D.). I currently work in private practice and teaching as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Social Work at Shippensburg University, where I am also an alumuni (BSW, 2003). I hold a Masters in Social Work from Temple University (MSW, 2016). Additionally, a Masters of Arts in Community Psychology and Social Change (MA, 2012). I consider myself to be a lifelong learner. I am biracial so practicing cultural awareness and competency, comes naturally. I am a cancer survivor (sarcoma) and chronic pain fighter (endometriosis and PCOS), with professional experience in healthcare so case management and patient advocacy are additional skills used in the therapeutic approach.
