Gill Jasmine Jr.
Hello! My name is Gill Jasmine Jr., and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over six years of experience in the mental health field. I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, overcome obstacles, and discover new possibilities for themselves. My practice centers on meeting you where you are, without judgment, and creating a space where you feel safe to show up as your true self. Together, we can work toward embracing acceptance, building self-love, and recognizing that your past does not have to determine your future.

First session
For our initial session, we will complete an assessment where I get to know more information surrounding what brings you in and to see if we would be a good match.
Strengths
One of the strengths I bring to sessions is my sense of humor. I believe therapy can be a space where we laugh, connect, and show up as our authentic selves. I want clients to know that I’m human, too, and that building a genuine, relatable connection is an important part of the therapeutic process. At the same time, I recognize that not every moment needs to be filled with conversation or laughter. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can sit with your emotions, process your experiences, and feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. Sometimes, that may mean offering a listening ear, asking thoughtful questions, or simply allowing silence so you have the space to connect with what you’re feeling. My goal is to meet you where you are, honor your experiences, and support you in your journey toward growth and healing.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are adults who may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, past trauma, identify confusion, grief, relationship or family stress, or major life transitions. I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful changes in their lives. I also value clients that commit to the process and are consistent with meeting.
Treatment methods
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT approaches to help teach the client various ways of grounding themselves during times when they feel emotionally triggered or activated.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help the client identify negative, unhelpful thoughts and help reframe them into thoughts that are more helpful and realistic
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I use emotionally focused therapy to help clients identify, understand and accepts emotion, while also learning how to build a healthier relationship with all emotions.
