Do you want to break free from what’s holding you back? Sometimes thoughts and behaviors we developed to overcome difficult times are no longer serving a purpose. We all come with positive and negative experiences that inform how we move through the world. Difficult experiences don’t need to define or control us. Together we will work to understand your story, develop self-compassion, and ultimately make positive, long-lasting change.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients should feel a sense of connection and hope when they leave sessions. Though it can be difficult to be vulnerable, I’m committed to being warm, respectful and non-judgmental.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Therapy is a collaboration where we will tailor goals to better meet your needs. I use an eclectic approach and am comfortable working with a variety of treatment methods. In doing so, I am able to provide individualized treatment. I have received specialized training in Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Move Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Primary Child Adult Relationship Enhancement (PRICARE).

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have been working with children, adolescents, young adults and parents for over a decade. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, stress management, adoption, attachment issues, self-esteem, parenting issues, & child behavioral issues. I’ve found that I connect easily with clients and take pride in building strong therapeutic relationships. I look forward to talking with you!
