Hello, My name is Rachel Paolucci. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of Ohio and Pennsylvania. Working in the mental health field for over 8 years, I have served a diverse population of clients, ranging from 18 to 88 years of age, who may struggle with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, family issues, life transitions, as well as many other diagnoses and challenges. The idea that everyone can benefit from seeing a therapist holds true, as I am here to guide you to a version of yourself that focuses on building resilience, strength, and self-acceptance.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session together will serve as an opportunity for me to get to know you, and vice versa. I will utilize our first session to get a comprehensive overview on who you are as an individual to ensure a holistic perspective is seen in our work together. I am a clinician who values taking something with you at the end of our session, so you will be leaving our initial intake session with reflection points leading us into the next session together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am a straightforward clinician who values clarity, honesty, and individualized care. Having worked with a broad spectrum of communities and diagnoses, I understand that no two people experience challenges the same way. I focus on the person — not the label — and strive to make therapy approachable, collaborative, and free from unnecessary stigma.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You decided to begin writing your own story by seeking out therapy- the first step in choosing yourself. I am here to provide you with the guidance and tools needed to write your story. Through use of CBT, PCT, motivational interviewing, as well as an emphasis on the stages of change model, our work will foster the growth that you came out of comfortability to find. I am passionate in taking the person-centered approach with each client I work with; using your strengths and meeting you where you are at presently can help to achieve your goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I integrate CBT into most work with my clients. While I am a clinician that aligns treatment models based on individual needs, I emphasize role that thoughts and feelings play into our behaviors. I implement structured exercises that highlight this model throughout my work.

Eclectic

While I lean into CBT most frequently, I am a clinician who tends to take a person-centered approach. I implement motivational interviewing techniques, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic approaches dependent on client needs. I am a clinician who tends to focus less on pre-planned structured therapeutic techniques and more on what the client is sharing in the moment to make that decision.
