With 25 years of clinical experience, I am equipped to offer education, coping skills, and strategies that are designed to provide you with help, encouragement, and support as you navigate life challenges and stressors. My Relational, Strength-Based approach to counseling is designed to instill hope, empowerment, and restoration for the individual, family system, and couple. Real care means the willingness to help each other in making our brokenness into the gateway to joy. -Henri J.M. Nouwen Taking the first step toward counseling can feel difficult, especially when you've been carrying so much on your own. You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. I offer a warm, compassionate, and supportive space where you can feel heard, gain understanding, and move toward healing and growth, I invite you to reach out to me when you're ready.

Strengths
My Relational, Strength-Based approach to counseling is designed to instill hope, empowerment, and restoration for the individual, family system, and couple. My use of various techniques such as CBT, DBT, and trauma based skills combined with warmth, empathy, and a client centered approach offer a safe space for healing and growth.
Ideal clients
I work with primarily women age 18+ through older adults 65+. I focus on women's issues, anxiety, depression, life span transitions, and trauma based therapy. If you are ready to take responsibility for your growth and healing process in a collaborative process, we could be a very excellent fit! My strength is faith based counseling which incorporates scripture, prayer, meditation, and a faith centered awareness.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients recognize how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Through a collabrative and compassionate approach, we work to identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and build practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, and life's challenges. The goal is to empower clients with tools that promote lasting change and emotional well-being.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help clients develop skills to manage intense emotiins, navigate challenging relatinoships, and cope with distress. Through a supportive and compassionate approach, clients learn mindfullness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. The goal is to build resilience, strengthen relatiinships, and create a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Faith-based therapy
I offer faith-based counseling for individuals who desire to incorporate their Christian faith into the therapeutic process. Through a compassionate and supportive approach, we explore life's challenges while drawing upon the hope, wisdom, and strength found in faith. My goal is to help clients experience healing, deepen their spititual connection, and find renewed purpose, peace, and resilience.
