I’m a doctor of behavioral health and licensed professional counselor committed to helping clients make meaningful changes in their lives. My work focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors, increasing use of healthy coping skills, and empowering clients to engage in actions that are aligned with their values. I strongly believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals.
During your first session with me, you can expect us to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to get out of therapy, and how I can help. We will spend time talking through what you want me to know about what led you to your appointment so that I have a solid understanding of what you are going through now as well as where you want to be. We will collaborate to ensure that we are a good fit and talk through a solid plan to help you achieve your goals.
I am passionate about ensuring my clients feel empowered to live their lives in ways that feel meaningful to them. In order to achieve this, I work from a strengths-based, collaborative approach. I truly believe my clients are inherently capable of making positive changes within their lives--my role is to help them see it!
As a certified perinatal mental health therapist, I’m passionate about working with individuals and families who are trying to conceive, currently pregnant, and postpartum. I know these seasons of life can be filled with blissful moments as well as challenges and stress and I am here to support you so that you can best serve yourself and your family. I also have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, and relational conflicts.
I have extensive experience working with clients to make changes that feel aligned with what matters most to them, through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Through CBT, I help clients explore how their thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected; identify areas of growth; and create positive, meaningful changes.
