Hello, my name is Elena, which means “shining light.” I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing since 2015, when I earned my Master’s in Social Work. Throughout my career, I have worked in a wide range of settings, including hospitals, mental health clinics, domestic violence shelters, foster care, addiction treatment centers, and jails. These diverse experiences have helped me discover what I value most in my work: making a meaningful difference in the lives of the people I serve. Whether I am supporting someone through depression, helping them manage anxiety, processing long-held trauma, or simply offering a safe space to be heard, I find deep fulfillment in walking alongside others on their healing journey. True to the meaning of my name, I strive to be a source of hope and light for those I meet, believing that even small moments of connection can create lasting change.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addiction, life transitions and relationship challenges. I believe therapy is a journey inward—one that honors the mind, heart, and spirit. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner strengths and their Best Self: the part of you that is grounded in clarity, resilience, and compassion. At any stage of life, your Best Self remains present—offering wisdom, healing, and the possibility of deep inner peace even in the presence of deep pain or long-standing challenges. I hold a Master of Arts in Spiritual and Counseling Psychology and have trained in grief and loss, community mental health, psychiatric settings, and addiction treatment. In my private practice, I am deeply committed to creating a safe, shame-free, and growth-oriented space that honors each client’s unique healing process. My therapeutic approach is integrative, relational, and grounded in deep caring and lived experience. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and shift unhelpful patterns; mindfulness and acceptance-based practices to cultivate present-moment awareness and self-compassion; and humanistic and spiritual perspectives that invite exploration of meaning, authenticity, and purpose. Therapy is a collaborative process. Together we work in a compassionate space to reconnect with your Best Self—honoring a lifetime of experience while cultivating peace, resilience, and self-compassion in all seasons of life.

You might be at a turning point. Drained by work or the people around you, disconnected from whatever used to give things meaning, or trying to find your footing after a major life change. Maybe anxiety creeps in, thoughts get stuck on repeat, or there's a heaviness you can't quite shake. These are the kinds of crossroads I help people navigate. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Sacramento. My background spans community mental health, residential treatment, and crisis intervention, with a focus on addiction recovery, trauma, and complex life transitions. Before that, 15 years in the arts and nonprofit world gave me a close-up view of the burnout that people who give a lot of themselves often carry quietly.

Hello, By the time we reach adulthood, many of us find ourselves carrying the weight of unresolved concerns. This emotional “luggage” can give rise to feelings of sadness, loneliness, helplessness, low self-esteem, hopelessness, persistent worry, and many other challenges that affect our daily lives. Let me introduce myself: I am Dr. Varda Hakobyan, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist based in Los Angeles, California. I work with a broad spectrum of psychological concerns, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, trauma, problematic relationships, behavioral issues, and more. These challenges can place a heavy burden on both mind and body, often limiting our ability to build fulfilling personal, social, and professional lives. In my work with you, I draw on an eclectic, integrative approach, tailoring therapy to your unique needs so that our work together supports both healing and meaningful growth. Most importantly, I want you to know that I strive to create a safe, positive, and non-judgmental environment, where we can build a strong foundation of trust. It is within this trustful therapeutic relationship that we can explore the deeper layers of your psyche and support your path toward well-being.

I specialize in relationship conflicts, feeling constantly overwhelmed (nervous system in fight or flight mode), difficulty with regulating emotions/or expressing emotions, navigating major life challenges, struggling with triggers and guilt, break up/divorce, getting stuck in the thought spirals, or just feeling anxious and depressed by life. When your nervous system is constantly stressed, you spend all of your energy managing or worrying about everyone else's moods or trying to keep your head above water, it's easy to lose sight of who you are. My style is down to earth, engaged, and collaborative (vs just listening and validating you). I will provide you a safe space to share your story, and help you identify the patterns that keep you stuck, as I believe that is vital for your growth. Together, we can learn new tools that actually work so that you can reclaim your sense of peace. I try to balance warmth and validation with honest feedback and the "why" this happening (the neuroscience behind it, if it helps you). I believe that therapy is most effective when it honors your heritage, values, and lived experience. I welcome all cultural backgrounds and am LGBTQ affirming.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in trauma, burnout, and moral injury. With nearly a decade of crisis intervention experience and advanced training in Brainspotting, somatic modalities, and depth psychology, I work with first responders, healthcare providers, therapists, activists, and LGBTQIA+ individuals who are ready to stop just managing and start actually healing. A lot of my clients come in high-functioning on the outside and quietly exhausted on the inside. They've been the ones others lean on. They've made hard calls, held hard things, and kept moving because stopping wasn't an option. What brought them to therapy isn't weakness, it's the accumulated weight of doing hard work in a world that doesn't always make space for the cost of it. My work is to help people who've carried a lot make sense of what that's actually cost them, and reclaim who they are beyond their role, and that looks different for everyone. For some, it's processing specific events or experiences, and for others, it's untangling an identity that got fused with a job title, a caretaking role, or a set of values that the world kept violating. Whatever the shape of it, we work at a pace that respects both the urgency you feel and the time real healing actually takes.

Hi there, I'm Dr. Evelyn Vasquez, and I work with people who operate under extraordinary pressure, including first responders, veterans, medical providers, elite athletes, and other high-performing professionals. If you've been carrying the weight of your work, struggling with trauma, navigating performance anxiety, or feeling the strain in your relationships, I'm here to help. I also work with family members of the individuals mentioned above. I meet you where you are. I understand that therapy might feel uncomfortable or even risky in your world. My approach isn't about changing who you are; it's about giving you tools that actually work within the realities of your life. Whether you're working rotating shifts, managing a packed competition schedule, juggling court dates, or dealing with the unpredictability of emergency services, I'll work around your schedule and respect what your day-to-day looks like. I bring some relevant background to our work together. As a former collegiate athlete, I've experienced performance pressure myself. My Master's in Homeland Security and experience in security and emergency management have given me insight into organizational cultures and operational realities. While I don't claim to know exactly what you've been through, I've worked extensively with people in your field, and I will learn about your specific experience from you. I specialize in evidence-based trauma treatments (Prolonged Exposure, CPT, and EMDR) that have strong track records for resolving PTSD, and I integrate performance psychology and resilience skills so you can move forward stronger. I also work with couples and families, because the demands of your career affect the people you care about most. If you're ready to address what's been weighing on you or even if you're just exploring whether therapy might help.

Trauma can hurt long after the painful events are over. It creeps into our relationships and makes it hard to love and trust others. Often, even more painfully, it makes it hard to love and trust ourselves. Often we try to ignore it, avoid it, try to forget it, but the hurt and memories always seem to come back. Maybe you find it hard to trust others, unsure if they are safe. Maybe you notice you are a "people pleaser", worried about making others happy but not happy yourself. If people in your life have hurt you, I want you to know that you are not alone, and healing is possible. As a trauma therapist, I will help you connect how the story of your past echoes into your present. I will support you in identifying the hangups that get you stuck and help you to get a foothold in your life. As you heal from your past and harmful coping, I will support you with taking control of your life and moving towards the goals you've hoped for. I have the best job in the world. It's an incredible experience to connect to people, many whom have never been able to safely share about themselves, and help them feel heard, validated, and supported. Starting therapy can be nerve-wracking, but if you are interested, or even curious, I'd be happy to work with you.

I feel very fortunate to have grown up in the Bay Area, but never truly appreciated it until I left and came back. I attended high school in Marin at the Branson School in Ross. After High School I left for Wheaton College in Massachusetts where I earned a B.A. in Psychology. I moved to Florida where I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Prior to earning my Masters in Psychology I spent a number of years working in child and adolescent residential treatment centers in both San Francisco and Orlando, Florida. It was at this time that I fell in love with working with adolescents, adults, and their families. After graduate school, I found myself working for, and soon thereafter managing, an inpatient treatment program for adolescents who had experienced severe trauma. I returned to California for good in 2011 where I started working as the Lead Therapist for the Adolescent Outpatient Program at Fremont Hospital. I opened a part time private practice in 2012 and transitioned to a full time practice in San Francisco in early 2013.

Hi, my name is Alyssa, my cultural background is Italian and Hispanic. I am also married to an Iranian and have learned for decades about Iranian culture. I am familiar with first responders and have proudly been invited to do several ride-alongs with a local Police department. I began my work practices as a therapist in the Bay Area of California and have been serving for 8 years. I enjoy providing a non-judgmental environment to support you with providing skills and tools to improve life's challenges. I went to NDNU for my master's program, earning my Master of Science in clinical psychology. I did my undergraduate degree at Menlo College in Atherton California. Most of my time has been a significant amount of years working with children aged 0-5, in school settings, and with couples. I enjoy engaging in relationship building, providing tools you can apply daily, and also with women who have experienced trauma. I also am an animal lover and enjoy spending time with my husband and children, hiking, reading books, and engaging in meditation during my free time.

I started helping those who are seeking to up-level their experiences and shine as their true and authentic selves in 2019. My journey first started in residential treatment facilities where I held space for those in early recovery from substance use disorders. This population ranged from men's only, women's only and LGBTQ+ Many of these individuals also struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders. I have also had the opportunity to work with adolescents at risk of sex trafficking. This work is extremely rewarding as the clients are at an age where they are most influential and willing. I am a deeply spiritual person and practice in the study of yoga and meditation and participate in somatic healings such as Kundalini Light Intergration (KALI) and breathworks. I am also a level two Reiki practitioner (training to become a master) and a certified personal trainer. When I am not holding space for healing, I enjoy being in the outdoors, surfing, climbing, reading and cooking nutritious and fun to eat meals. I hope to continue the journey of providing a safe space for individuals where healing can occur for years to come. I offer sessions both early in the morning (5am - 7am) and later in the evening (6pm - 9pm) to accommodate those who work nine to five or those who just prefer early morning or evening therapy sessions.

Sometimes, the most profound connections are formed when someone truly listens.I’m Cintia, here not just to hear, but to deeply understand you. In a world where trauma and anxiety often drown out our inner voices, I know that beneath the spoken words, lies a heart’s true narrative. What a degree in Clinical Psychology and a seven-year journey as a therapist has allowed me to is delve deep into the realms of trauma, anxiety, and depression. While these are my primary focuses, I also bring profound insights into PTSD, intricate family dynamics, relationship challenges, and concerns faced by the LGBTQ community.

I specialize in relationship issues, supporting young adults, couples and families. Attachment injuries and loss can affect how we feel about ourselves and limit our engagement with others. I can help you identify and let go of emotional reactivity and defensiveness. I offer Somatic therapy and EMDR to support people struggling with post-traumatic stress. Processing trauma in this way helps release emotional charge stored in the body to overcome past experiences that hold us back from living life fully. If you feel that you are stuck in a loop, this work can help you let go and move on.
