First session
Thank you for considering working with me. The first session is designed to help us begin building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. We will discuss concerns that brought you to therapy, your current symptoms and stressors, important life experiences, and the goals you would like to achieve. Many people feel nervous before a first appointment. This is completely normal. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgemental environment where you can speak openly and feel heard. I look forward to meeting you and beginning this journey together.

Clients who need to develop additional coping skills to manage stress of everyday living or deal with the impact of life transitions and losses, as well as clients who are held back because of the past traumatic experiences. My goal as a therapist is to help clients embrace their power to heal and reach their potential.
