Thank you for stopping by! A little about myself. I am a mother to three adult children, a Nana to 5 and dog mom to 2 Jack Russel's. I grew up in foster care and was adopted in my teens. That path led me through my own therapeutic journey as I struggled with depression and anxiety. As I found wellness, I launched into social work professionally to support youth and families, and eventually here, as a licensed therapist. I have been working with Individuals and families in various therapeutic settings for over 25 years.
I provide individual and family therapy with a trauma-informed, culturally attuned approach. My work weaves together evidence-based methods like EMDR, CBT, and psychodynamics theory with deep compassion and intuition. As someone who values both emotional healing and spiritual growth, I help clients untangle the effects of trauma, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with their inner resilience. At the heart of my work is a simple intention to help you heal, grow, and move forward with more clarity, strength, and hope.
Are you anxious or feel triggered easily. Traumatic experiences in life can lead to a nervous system that just won't calm down. It doesn't have to have been big T trauma to result in easily triggered reactions. Anything happens that your brain thinks is a threat or brings back old pain can cause triggers that set you nervous system off. It can also be the reason for that anxious feeling you have that is difficult to relieve.
The ability to calm your nerves is one of the most valuable skills for good mental health. I use mindfulness practices and breath work to help you retrain your nerves. Nervous system regulation is key to healing from trauma. A very useful tool to actually release trauma is ImTT or Image Transformation Therapy. ImTT uses imagery and the breath to release triggers and heal the nervous system. It does so in a safe and gentle way. Once triggers are released you can make choices based on what's happening now not a threat from the past. Your nervous system can calm down. Anxiety decreases. Mindfulness, somatic practices and other self-care tools are valuable additions to support the work. Together these things can gently and safely heal and reset the nervous system. I would love to share them with you to help you on your healing journey.
If this speaks to you reach out and schedule a time to meet. I would love to work with you.

Hello, I'm Dr. Scheherazade Pheng, a licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with more than 20 years of experience helping adults across California. My work has been at the intersection of mental health, the criminal justice system, and the families whose lives are deeply affected by it.
One of the things that matters most to me is making quality mental health care accessible. I welcome clients with a variety of insurance plans because I believe the support you receive should never depend on the insurance card you carry.
Throughout my career, I have learned two important truths. When one person enters the criminal justice system, an entire family is impacted. Parents, spouses, grandparents, and children often carry overwhelming stress, grief, fear, and uncertainty while trying to keep moving forward. I have also seen that many communities near California's prisons and detention facilities have limited access to mental health care, despite having a tremendous need for support.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, shame, or the emotional challenges of loving someone who is incarcerated, you will find a compassionate and judgment-free space in my practice. Together, we'll work toward healing, greater clarity, and renewed hope. You deserve support just as much as the people you care about, and I'm here to help when you're ready. Dr. Pheng is also the author of The Other Side of the Wall: A Healing Guide for Families of Incarcerated Loved Ones, available at thriveinstitutefbh.com.

I provide personalized, evidence-based therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and major life transitions. Whole-Hearted Therapy Centered on Genuine Connection. Ever had therapy that feels like it drags on without any results? Research shows the Power of Connection drives roughly 60% of Therapeutic Success. My Compassionate Therapy Style focuses on Building Bridges of Trust and cultivating a meaningful connection with positive outcomes.
So, how do you find the best therapist for you? That's a great question. And it's one that most people struggle with answering whether it's their first or umpteenth search. Is it the therapist him/herself, their personality, theoretical approach, or specialty? While all these factors are important, it shouldn't be your responsibility to find the best clinician; rather it's the clinician's responsibility to become the best therapist for you.
I also have a particular interest in using holistic practices to help create great results for depression & anxiety disorders as well as trauma/PTSD and other mental/behavioral conditions. These include EFT Tapping, breathing/mindfulness/meditation, and Amino Acids, etc.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Addiction Counselor with nearly nine years of extensive professional experience in both mental health and addiction. Further, I have a personal background in overcoming addictions as well as several mental health and learning disabilities.
Whether you're seeking help to overcome addiction, mental health conditions or career counseling, I've dedicated my professional life to becoming YOUR BEST clinician. Transform Your Mental Health Story: Break Free from disheartening therapy experiences with my Empathetic Approach. Ready for a change? Let’s connect for a video conference consultation. From the comfort of your own space, let’s start your journey towards a happier, healthier you!
Hi, I’m Ruthie, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Therapy with Ruthie D.
I believe you are more than your symptoms, your diagnosis, your circumstances, or the roles you’ve been asked to carry. My work is rooted in understanding the whole person: your relationships, family, culture, identity, experiences, and the systems that have shaped how you move through the world.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. Rather than simply asking, “What’s wrong?” I want to understand what you’ve been through, what you’ve been carrying, and what you need to feel more connected to yourself and the people around you.
I work with youth, adults, and families navigating life transitions, relationship and family dynamics, emotional challenges, and the impact of systems and experiences that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck.
As a second-generation Filipina-American and longtime mental health professional, I also understand that healing doesn’t happen in isolation. We are shaped by our families, communities, cultures, and the world around us. Sometimes healing means learning new ways of relating. Sometimes it means breaking patterns that were passed down to us. And sometimes it means reconnecting with parts of ourselves we had to set aside to survive.
Therapy with me is a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and build a deeper relationship with yourself and others—with compassion, honesty, and without judgment.
You don’t have to figure it all out before you walk through the door. We can start from wherever you are.
Are you ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and lasting change? I am here to support you every step of the way. With a unique blend of compassion and practicality, I create a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your inner world, set achievable goals, and harness your true potential. Guided by a holistic perspective, I recognize that your journey towards authenticity and empowerment encompasses every aspect of your being – mind, body, and spirit.

My name is Shant Bardakjian and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Glendale, California. I currently work with adults within the greater Los Angeles area. Currently, I work with clients aged 18 to 64. I am a brainspotting Phase 1 trained therapist, who works with trauma, depression, and anxiety.
My approach to therapy is tailored to the client’s needs. I enter into therapy with whatever you bring into the session. If you need a creative approach to solve your problems, then I would use an eclectic approach with a person centered lens that can be flexible for whatever need is brought into the room.
My communication style is calm and approachable. I would like my clients to feel at ease in sharing whatever is on their heart without fear of judgment.
I decided to become a therapist because I have wanted to help people discover their best selves. I have been drawn to helping people discover their innate ability to heal past whatever is keeping them stuck in life.
My aim is for whoever works with me to be able to define a goal that can be accomplished and for trust to be gradually built within the therapeutic relationship. In this way, the progress that is seen in therapy will in turn translate to improvements in multiple areas of your life.
In our first session together, you can expect the primary focus to be for me to hear your story of what brought you to therapy. The first session is to determine if there is an initial connection and also questions that would enable me to better understand what would work best for you as treatment progresses.
Starting therapy can be a meaningful step toward understanding yourself and creating change. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that our struggles often make sense when we understand the experiences behind them. I help clients explore their emotions, recognize the patterns that have shaped them, and reconnect with themselves through a process rooted in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration.
To me, therapy is most meaningful when it begins with curiosity rather than judgment. We'll start where you are, taking time to understand your experiences, relationships, and the patterns that seem to repeat themselves. Along the way, we'll pay attention to what your mind and body may be communicating and use our work together as a space for insight, healing, and meaningful change. My goal is to help you better understand yourself so you can move through life with greater clarity, self-compassion, and confidence.

Hi, I’m Tammy Andrade-De La Isla, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I’m here to offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, valued, and empowered. I believe that therapy should feel like a collaborative process, one where we work together to explore your experiences, identify your strengths, and support your personal growth.
I earned my degree from Humboldt State University, where I dedicated my studies to exploring decolonizing mental health practices. This perspective continues to influence how I approach my work with clients, always taking into account the larger context, including cultural, historical, and systemic factors that may impact your well-being.
I have a strong passion for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities, and I strive to bring a strength-based, affirming approach to everything I do. I genuinely believe in the resilience of the human spirit and feel privileged to support people as they navigate life’s challenges, work through trauma, and move toward a more connected and empowered version of themselves.
Whether you're exploring your identity, experiencing a life transition, or simply looking for someone who will truly listen, I am here to support you.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, with over 5 years of clinical experience supporting clients' mental health. I'm passionate about working with individuals who want to understand themselves on a deeper level, not just manage symptoms but shift the patterns underneath them. I work with adults navigating the emotional challenges that come from ADHD, anxiety, relationship stress, attachment wounds, or trauma. My role is to help you untangle what feels confusing, strengthen your sense of self, and move toward relationships and choices that feel secure and aligned.
I believe healing can be found in a variety of ways that are unique to each of us. Our identities, experiences, and stories shape who we are. I believe it is monumental to learn how all of our pieces intersect to create our authentic self. By understanding these, healing can be transformative.
I believe social justice work is a requirement for therapists. I believe you have a right to know about who you work with morally, ethically, and politically. I am progressive leaning and do what I can to support human rights and the social justice movements. As a white therapist, I believe it is a requirement for me to be engaged in social justice work along with consistent learning experiences.
By providing guidance, support, safety, and empowerment my main goals are to enhance the healing process and promote thriving. I want to create the safest space I can to support connection with your whole, authentic self.
In my sessions, I promote self-discovery, transformation, and self-compassion. I use techniques such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and IFS (Internal Family Systems). I believe using trauma centered, intersectional feminist, social justice, CRT, and Queer Theory perspectives are fundamental in therapy.

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and I’m glad you’re here. My goal is to offer a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your experiences and begin healing at a pace that feels right for you.

These emotional experiences can make life feel heavy and overwhelming—but you don’t have to navigate them alone.

Hi, I'm Sara! I believe everyone has the capacity to heal, even when life feels overwhelming. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and comfortable being your authentic self. You don't have to have the right words or all the answers—we'll figure things out together.
I enjoy helping people understand themselves on a deeper level, recognize patterns that no longer serve them, and build practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is collaborative, personalized, and grounded in the belief that therapy should meet you where you are.
I know that healing isn't always linear, and I believe growth can happen through both the difficult moments and the lighter ones. While we may explore deep emotions, I also welcome laughter, curiosity, and celebrating the small wins along the way. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and a little more connected to yourself than when you arrived.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. After more than 30 years as an educator, minister, counselor, and consultant; I realized that the one thing I am most passionate about is working one-on-one with others – watching them discover clarity, restoration, hope, and passion.
