Jungian therapy will look at the relationship of your “self” to your experiences and look at problems as a symptom of something deeper. Whether it be a thought or perception, dream, belief, value or current relationship that brings you to therapy, we'll look for what messages are coming to you from within. Tapping into your own creativity, we can use myth and metaphor, poetry, dreams, literature and art to explore your relationship to the problem.

Hi there, I'm Kash! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this bio. I want to first congratulate in you on taking a step of putting yourself first. Taking that first step could have many mixed feelings of excitement, fear and uncertainty. I am here to be a support system for your self growth and development. Many things in life can occur which can hinder our growth. Such events can be disheartening (e.g. divorce, death of a loved one, stress in school or work, etc.) or even events that are normally viewed as positive (e.g. recently getting married, moving in together, getting a new job or promotion, children, etc). Events of any sort creates change which many individuals, couples and families experience differently. My role in these changes is to be a safe place to openly discuss these events and changes and to provide the support essential for growth. The approach I use for treatment with patients are integrative. You and I will develop an effective approach together to determine what would work best based on my clinical judgement and you knowing yourself.

Chronic pain is a false alarm. "Try putting ice on it. Try putting heat on it. Try sleeping on a giant magnet. Just ignore it." Some things are impossible to ignore. Pain is designed to be unignorable. When your body tells you there's a problem, it makes sure you listen. Pain helps protect our bodies from harm. Pain is like a conversation between body and brain. But as in any conversation, sometimes there are misunderstandings. You want your life back. Pain Reprocessing Therapy can help. I had suffered with chronic pain for many years, until Pain Reprocessing Therapy cured my chronic pain. I am excited to bring this relief to others! In 15 sessions or less, let me offer hope, and a way out. You have been ignored, gaslighted, and drained of your cash over many years of unsuccessful remedies for your pain. Pain Reprocessing Therapy targets learned neural pathways in the brain, and reverses them. If you have a diagnosed or suspected mental health condition, PRT is still effective.

In 2020, I graduated from San Diego State University with a Master's Degree in Child Development with a concentration in early childhood mental health. I became a therapist so that I could help others feel less alone in what they are feeling or what they are going through. Since practicing over the last five years, I have been supporting children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 5-20) by providing short term therapeutic services. Since starting to provide therapy during the recent global pandemic, I have extreme gratitude for connection and the vulnerability that many so bravely have as they make the decision to start therapy and focus on improving their mental health. I have a great appreciation for humor, the outdoors, my two cats, and music. I encourage everyone to find ways to introduce moments of peace and happiness into each day.

I'd say my upbringing inspired me from my home to school. I have seen and heard mental health being mentioned as important and encouraged to take care of. I'd say full circle of having gone to therapy, becoming a therapist, and providing therapy is rewarding in itself, I'd have to put a paragraph explaining why, so I'll leave it as that. I look at therapy as a unique relationship that both mirrors and overlaps qualities of a good friend, parent, sibling, partner, etc., where both the therapist and client focus on tackling the concerns he/she presents in therapy.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology, and I’ve dedicated my career to helping people navigate life’s most complex and painful experiences. Over the years, I’ve worked in diverse settings—including dually diagnosed clinics, domestic violence shelters, community-based agencies, and private practice. Each has deepened my understanding of the human experience and strengthened my ability to support clients with a wide range of challenges. My clinical experience includes working with relationship issues, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, eating disorders, mood disorders, co-occurring conditions, and other moderate to severe mental health concerns. I approach therapy from a place of warmth, curiosity, and non-judgment. I believe healing begins in spaces where people feel seen, heard, and safe. I was called to this work not only out of a desire to serve others, but from a personal journey of understanding how we make meaning from suffering. In my practice, I aim to help clients reconnect with their inherent worth, step into their “enoughness,” and cultivate deeper, more authentic relationships—with others and with themselves.

Have you been struggling with anxiety and/or lack of direction? Are you critical of yourself and feeling negative and sad? Do you have issues in your past you feel are impacting your present? Are you challenged by a life transition? Change is hard and not always smooth. Sometimes we get in our own way toward the life we want to live. I can help gain perspective and look at whether your thoughts and behaviors are helping you along your path or hindering your way. We can look at how patterns, thoughts and behaviors that might have been adaptive from a less than perfect past might be getting in your way now. I utilize a Cognitive Behavioral approach to look at thoughts and behaviors and what would serve you best. Incorporating positive psychology, support and compassion you will have assistance on life’s sometimes/occasionally meandering path.

About Labrini Gilpin, LPCC, CCM: Hi! My name is Labrini and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who resides and practices in the state of California (LPCC4154). In regards to my background and education, I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology. I attended Roger Williams University in Rhode Island and later moved to California in 2017, where I became licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Certified Case Manager (CCM). Mental health and physical wellness has always been a passion of mine and I strive to lead by example. On a more personal note, in 2020 my husband and I adopted two rescues who are now permanent members of the family: Popeye and Olive Oil. I am a pet lover and consider them to be trials that then led to my two beautiful boys. When I am not chasing after my puppies or little humans, in my free time I like to engage in activities that restore my mind, body, and soul whether that be through exercise, streaming shows, meditation, writing, listening to music, reading, or spending time with family and friends. Taking long walks with my kids has become a tradition. Nature is my happy place!

I am a psychologist and offer services via telehealth for individuals. Problems come from a network of experiences. In our work together, we will investigate these problems: where they come from, how they are supported, what they may be telling you, how you learned from these problems, ways they can be negotiated, and times when they are not present. Nothing is wrong with you. You are simply dealing with problems the best way you know how. As we explore the problems, you will find fresh perspectives and build alternative ways of responding that enable you to build better relationships and handle problems with increased flexibility. I am an interactive therapist working with you to develop and experience more confidence, focus, and motivation to meet life’s changing demands. I help people who are doing ok on the outside figure out, and understand, why they might feel so overwhelmed on the inside. You can gain insight and clarity and increase your ability to navigate life transitions, anxiety, fear, depression, and/or traumatic experiences that have impacted your quality of life.
