Hi, I’m Beth. Life can feel overwhelming at times—stress, anxiety, depression, or big life changes can leave us feeling stuck. I work alongside individuals and couples in a supportive, nonjudgmental way, helping you navigate these challenges and find balance. I offer a space where you can share what’s on your mind, build coping skills, set healthy boundaries, and explore practical solutions at your own pace. Together, we’ll uncover insights and make meaningful changes so you can feel more peace, confidence, and joy in your everyday life.
In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and discuss what therapy is like, including what you can expect from me and what I expect from you. We’ll explore your reasons for seeking therapy and your goals, which will help us work together to create a personalized plan for your treatment. This session is all about setting the foundation for a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship.
I believe that every emotion you feel matters, and I’ll help you stay present with your feelings so you can live more fully without judging or minimizing yourself. I provide a compassionate, safe space where you can explore who you are, gain insight, let go of negative self-talk, and set the healthy boundaries you deserve. My goal is to support you as you grow, feel more empowered, and embrace your life with greater confidence and clarity.
I love working with individuals, especially women, who are navigating life’s many transitions or managing a heavy mental load that contributes to stress and anxiety. I enjoy supporting clients who are ready to grow, embrace their strengths, and become more fully themselves as they create balance and meaningful change in their lives.
I use CBT to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts while practicing healthier behaviors. This often includes thought records, cognitive restructuring, and behavioral experiments that encourage new ways of responding to challenges.
I integrate ACT by guiding clients to accept difficult emotions, clarify values, and take committed action toward meaningful goals. This allows clients to move beyond symptom control and build psychological flexibility.
Positive psychology adds a focus on strengths, gratitude, and resilience. I encourage practices such as gratitude journaling, values-based actions, and savoring positive experiences to help clients build purpose and overall well-being.
I also incorporate DBT skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. These tools provide clients with concrete strategies for managing intense emotions and improving relationships.
My approach is eclectic, allowing me to tailor interventions to each client’s needs. I draw from multiple evidence-based models to provide a flexible, individualized path toward healing and growth.
