LMFT, 14 years of experience
Are you struggling with your work-life balance, family unit, parent-child relationship, or other relationships? Are these conflicts bringing you overwhelming emotions and distress? Are you in need of more healthy coping skills? As a professional therapist (LMFT) of over 14 years, I strive to empower client success while being a guiding presence in a supportive and safe space. By managing anxiety and dealing with burnout in the workplace, at home, and in relationships you can involve yourself in ideas and activities that bring you to the present and guide you toward your desired future. I am currently working with individual clients 18 and over only, and not accepting couples.
By the end of the first session I want you to walk away feeling comfortable about the therapeutic process in our sessions. I also want you to walk away feeling heard, validated, and with a few basic tools to start you on your healing journey.
I have spent the majority of my career working with clients who struggle with anxiety, addiction, and relational problems in all stages and aspects of life. I can help you manage your anxiety, stress, burnout, and other distressing emotions by building healthy coping skills so that you can walk through life creating and achieving the goals you desire with confidence.
I love working with clients who are ready to dive into their healing journey. I also love working with clients who are unsure what that journey might look like but are ready to explore it. I am currently working with individual clients 18 and over only, and not accepting couples.
Although I use different treatment methods based on specific client needs each session, Person-centered therapy is a part of every session. It allows me to provide a supportive space that provides my clients the ability to access their own inner resources for growth and self-understanding. You are the expert on your life, and I am here to guide and support you towards growth and healing.

Willing to listen to me, open minded otherwise too early to tell she will be able to help me. There is still lots of tanks that need to be completed before I feel mentally well. The grief is so very fresh and feeling very guilty.

I love working with Melissa, it is always refreshing to talk to her. She is a very warm and inviting person, she never makes me feel judged or unreasonable for my feelings. She gives me great life advice and I enjoy hearing what she has to say and the different ideas to help me manage my emotions and mental health. Lucky to have her as my therapist!
