I am licensed in California with 15 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. My approach is Holistic Therapy, focusing on the mind, body and soul. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
In our first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where they can openly share their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. We'll start by getting to know each other and discussing their reasons for seeking therapy, as well as any goals or expectations they have for working together. I'll provide an overview of my therapeutic approach and answer any questions they may have about the process. We'll also explore their strengths, values, and any challenges they are facing, laying the foundation for our collaborative work. By the end of the session, they can expect to feel heard, understood, and supported, with a clearer sense of how therapy can help them on their journey towards healing and growth.

EMDR
"In my practice, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy as an evidence-based approach to help clients process traumatic memories and distressing experiences. Through specialized training and expertise, I guide clients through the reprocessing phases, facilitating bilateral stimulation to promote adaptive resolution of trauma. EMDR empowers clients to heal from past wounds, reduce symptoms of PTSD, and enhance overall well-being, fostering transformative growth and resilience."

Finding a therapist who encourages holistic approaches to healing has always been important to me. Many people fear being forced to rely on medication to cope with psychological issues. Ms. Elizarraras has always respected my choices and has provided me with alternative ways to work through my C-PTSD, and I am truly grateful for her kindness and support. She has created a safe and trusting environment where I feel heard and respected.

Marisol won my trust from our first visit as she understood exactly what I was going to need to help me with my mental anxiety and depression. She is a great listener and gives great advice. I am happy I chose Marisol as my Therapist.

I honestly feel heard and seen all at once when especially mentioning things from past conversation with her remembering and giving more insight. I know I'm in a safe space when speaking up on difficult situations no matter how nervous I feel. After every appointment I always leave feeling a little less weight/pressure on me and more open/free.
