New to Grow
With over 15 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California, I provide a grounded, compassionate, and highly personalized approach to mental health. My practice is built on the belief that whether you are navigating the complexities of childhood, the challenges of adulthood, or the intricate dynamics of a relationship or family, you deserve a space where you feel truly heard.
In our first session, you can expect a space that is both professional and deeply human. My priority is to move at a pace that feels right for you while ensuring we lay a solid foundation for our work together.
What stands out about my approach is the integration of extensive clinical background with a highly structured, goal-oriented toolkit. I don't believe therapy should be a mystery; I believe it should provide you with a clear roadmap to feeling better.
Working with clients aged 13+ that are navigating life’s challenges—whether it's the high-pressure years of late adolescence or the complex transitions of adulthood—can often lead to cycles of anxiety, anger, or low mood. If a person is feeling 'stuck' and would like to move toward a life of emotional balance and clarity we would work together to break these cycles using a collaborative, multi-faceted approach.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I believe that understanding the connection between our thoughts and our actions is key to emotional wellness. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my treatment to help people break free from 'stuck' cycles of thinking. My approach is hands-on and supportive, focusing on equipping people with the skills needed to navigate stress and anxiety with newfound clarity and confidence.
Interpersonal
I utilize Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) to help clients navigate the complex social contexts of their lives. By focusing on life transitions, grief, and relationship conflicts, we work together to improve communication and build stronger support systems, which research shows is a powerful catalyst for relieving depression and anxiety.
Motivational Interviewing
My approach is grounded in Motivational Interviewing, a collaborative style that honors someone's autonomy and helps them tap into their own internal reasons for change. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all solution; instead, I work alongside clients to resolve ambivalence and build the confidence necessary to take the next steps toward the life they want.
