"Hello, my name is Peggy Stewart, and I have been practicing psychotherapy for over a decade. I am a professor at the University of Southern California, where I teach aspiring mental health professionals. I am a Licensed Psychotherapist (LCSW) and a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology. My approach to therapy is to assist my clients in achieving an improved quality of life."
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Psychologist based in California. I received my bachelor's degree from Cornell University, a master's degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) system, another master's from the University of New Mexico, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of New Mexico. I've trained at three Veteran's Affairs hospitals (most recently VA Puget Sound) and completed my residency at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California. I've co-authored more the 25 scholarly articles, chapters for medical textbooks, and symposia at national conferences, worked on a number of research grants funded by the National Institutes of Health, and have been providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and groups since 2014.
As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my deep empathy, active listening, and a commitment to mindful curiosity. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where your unique story can be truly heard and valued. Rather than simply diagnosing a problem, I listen for the 'hidden' stories of your strengths and values that often get overshadowed. My approach to active listening is about more than just understanding; it’s about standing alongside you to deconstruct the challenges you face and uncover the skills you already possess. Together, we will collaborate to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve you, fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and the reclamation of your personal agency.

I provide a warm and genuine atmosphere and understand that “one size does not fit all." I'll do my best to meet you where you are and really get to know you and your specific concerns. I treat the whole person to maximize growth.
Do you feel like your 'fight-or-flight' response is stuck on high? I specialize in helping clients understand the unique wiring of ADHD, depressed, and anxious brains. By exploring the science of why you feel so restless, unmotivated, or overwhelmed, we can separate your worth from your symptoms. My goal is to help you stop fighting your brain and start working with it, using evidence-based techniques that actually click for your unique mind.
Therapy shouldn't be another place where you have to perform. In our sessions, fidgeting is encouraged, eye contact is optional, and your unique way of processing the world is celebrated, not 'fixed.' I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for adults with ADHD and anxiety to unmask and find balance. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths to help you navigate a world that wasn't exactly built for minds like yours.
If you're tired of feeling like your brain is a browser with 50 tabs open, you’re in the right place. I help individuals with ADHD, PTSD, depression and anxiety and more move from 'overwhelmed' to 'organized' by building practical toolkits for time management and focus. We won't just talk about your challenges, we'll actively troubleshoot the obstacles keeping you stuck so you can feel more in control of your day-to-day life.
I received Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Francisco and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Dominican University of California. The majority of my training has been in community clinics and hospitals throughout the SF Bay Area including the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) and Kaiser Permanente. I am certified by the American Psychological Association and licensed to practice in the State of California.
My passion for therapy is rooted in a deep desire to connect with others. Growing up in a family rich in cultural diversity, I have had the privilege of hearing stories from relatives of various backgrounds, which sparked my curiosity and appreciation for different perspectives. This experience has inspired me to continually learn about others—their thoughts, motivations, and unique journeys. I believe my purpose is to support clients as they strive to reach their fullest potential. For me, being a therapist means walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate challenges and embrace growth. It is both an honor and a privilege to serve my community in this meaningful way.
I am committed to helping people regain a sense of purpose and greater understanding about what they are struggling with. I work to empower them to have some control in a chaotic world around or within them.
I have worked with individuals, couples, and families throughout the greater San Diego area over the past ten years. I can offer a safe and non-judgemental space to discuss your issues where you can feel seen and heard. My aim will be to understand who you are and the world you are in to create more meaning as you begin to heal.
Sometimes we can lose our way, lose sight of ourselves, or even put distance between those we love. I am passionate about helping people find their way back to themselves and work towards reconnecting with their family or community.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. I am passionate about providing a collaborative approach and empathic understanding of my client's needs. I focus on evidence-based approaches, that are effective at uncovering the root of individuals' struggles and finding solutions. I utilize a Telehealth platform in California and a Hybrid platform in Washington State.
In my spare time, I enjoy trail riding my horses and working on my farm. Gardening and skiing are also passions of mine.
Sometimes people find themselves repeating behavior patterns that don't help them move forward. Out-of-control thoughts, feelings and reactions can interfere with one’s sense of peace and well-being as well as relationships. If you can identify with any of these challenges, I can help you find your center and honor your life path.
As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I strive to create a safe, inclusive, judgment-free space for clients to explore, heal, and grow.

Hi! First, I want to thank you for visiting my page and giving me an opportunity to see how my therapeutic style can assist you with reducing your distress and increasing your life satisfaction. I am so honored that you have decided to review my profile and see if I am a good fit for your journey.
I have been working as a therapist with a variety of mental health disorders and systemic family dynamics since 2015. I initially pursued a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and decided that was an unfulfilling career direction for me. Upon deciding to pursue a master’s degree, I decided to pursue the MFT field. Becoming and MFT was the career goal I had as a teenager, so you could say that pursuing the field is a lifelong dream come true.
My methods of therapy are person led. I like to provide space, and safety to assist you with addressing the reasons you made the brave choice to pursue therapy. I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). It is a gentle, evidenced based method that uses mindfulness and increases coping skills to assist with achieving therapeutic goals. Additionally, I utilize the technique of Brainspotting that assists with deeper, difficult to resolve trauma.
I am LGBTQ+ affirming therapist. I work with clients who are questioning, in their transition process, as well as those who are working on their mental health unrelated to their sexual and gender orientation. If necessary, I can consult with you if you need me to provide gender affirming letters when required for insurance and surgical and hormonal procedures.
I really appreciate the time that you took to read through all this information, and I hope that it helps you make an informed decision.
You have chosen to take this step because you know that life is more than surviving—it’s about thriving. You know deep down that you can get there with the right support. My role is to assist you in living your best life, grounded in purpose. I want to help you meet your goals by offering a safe, reliable space for you to work out the barriers currently in your way to this best life.
Whether you feel depressed, anxious, alone, angry, or afraid—you can manage the difficulties you face with strength and confidence. As a LMFT with over two decades of experience I will do my best to draw out of you strength and resilience. I live out my Christian beliefs and welcome those who want professional support and a partner in faith. I welcome all who want to partner with me to achieve your goals and to fully thrive!
Hi! I'm Wen. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I help adults who are struggling to deal with everyday stressors and burnout. I empathetically listen to what you have to share and want to fully understand your situation before working collaboratively on solutions. I consider myself a direct person and try to break down the concepts that I teach into easily understood ideas.
I’m someone who believes that real healing begins with understanding — of yourself, your struggles, and your strengths. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of experience, I’m here to help you uncover the deeper causes of your challenges and guide you toward meaningful, lasting change.
Life brings many stressors that can affect your ability to cope — mentally, emotionally, and even physically. In our work together, whether individually or in a group setting, I take a holistic approach that supports your well-being in mind, body, and spirit.
My practice is client-centered and rooted in mindfulness. Together, we’ll gently explore what may be keeping you stuck — whether it’s unresolved trauma, painful memories, life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or addiction.
With compassionate support and practical tools, we’ll work to restore your sense of balance, build resilience, and help you reconnect with your full potential.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted from trying to keep it all together? You don’t have to navigate it alone.
I’m Matthew C. Volzer, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience in mental health and 12 years helping individuals, couples, and families create lasting change through evidence-based therapy. I specialize in working with people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, relationship challenges, or the emotional weight of past trauma.
My approach is practical, compassionate, and results-oriented. Drawing from CBT, trauma-focused therapy, and family systems work, I’ll help you understand the patterns that keep you stuck and give you tools to move forward with clarity and confidence. Whether you’re looking to quiet your inner critic, build stronger relationships, or simply feel more like yourself again—I’m here to support you every step of the way.
If you’re ready to start feeling better and make meaningful changes in your life, I’d be honored to work with you.
Hello and Welcome to the first step toward emotional healing. Healing Through Connection is my personal philosophy and lifelong vision to reach people who feel lost, hopeless, lonely, disconnected, uncertain, and grief ridden. I use a unique blend of professional and personal experiences that drive connection. I believe that we all find ourselves in seasons of life where we need to be reconnected with our worth, understand our experiences, and overcome our battles.
Hello, I’m Susan, and I’m so glad you’re here. I believe we are all wired for connection, and that healing often begins when we honor the intelligence behind our patterns with self-compassion. In my practice, I walk alongside my clients as they reconnect with themselves and move forward with greater clarity, authenticity, and intention. Together we create a supportive environment where mind and body can speak the same language, allowing renewal to emerge gently and naturally. It is a privilege to support individuals as they reclaim a deeper sense of belonging within themselves and in their relationships.
Hi, I'm Casandra, and I'm glad you are here! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with a master's degree from the University of Southern California. I decided to become a therapist because I love being able to help others. One of my favorite things is getting to know others and helping them to discover (or re-discover) who they are. Getting to help others realize their potential and overall improve their mental and emotional well-being is something I enjoy doing and consider it such a privilege.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, difficult life transitions, addictions and relationship challenges by developing both insight and learning new coping skills. I believe therapy is a journey inward—one that honors the mind, heart, and spirit and that manifests outwardly as greater life satisfaction. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner strengths and their Best Self: the part of you that is grounded in clarity, resilience, and compassion. At any stage of life, your Best Self remains present—offering wisdom, healing, and the possibility of deep inner peace even in the presence of significant life transitions, deep pain or long-standing challenges.
I hold a Master of Arts in Spiritual and Counseling Psychology and have trained in grief and loss, community mental health, psychiatric settings, and addiction treatment. In my private practice, I am deeply committed to creating a safe, shame-free, and growth-oriented space that honors each client’s unique healing process.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, relational, and grounded in deep caring and lived experience. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and shift unhelpful patterns; mindfulness and acceptance-based practices to cultivate present-moment awareness and self-compassion; and humanistic and spiritual perspectives that invite exploration of meaning, authenticity, and purpose.
Therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we work in a compassionate space to reconnect with your Best Self—honoring a lifetime of experience while cultivating peace, resilience, and self-compassion in all seasons of life.
Many of my clients are women who appear strong on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted on the inside. You may be struggling with high-functioning depression, relationship anxiety, or the pressure to hold everything together while quietly feeling stuck or burned out. Therapy can be a place where you don’t have to be the strong one, where you can slow down, understand yourself, and start to feel relief.
I specialize in working with women navigating eating disorders, trauma, caregiver burnout, and the lasting impact of difficult family relationships. Many of my clients are adult daughters of emotionally complicated or challenging parents who are learning to set boundaries, heal old wounds, and break patterns that no longer serve them. I also work with clients who struggle with relationship anxiety, self-doubt, and feeling “not good enough” despite being capable and successful.
My approach is warm, supportive, and practical. Together we work to understand patterns, reduce anxiety, and build tools you can use in everyday life. Clients often tell me they appreciate having a therapist who is both compassionate and honest, and who helps them make real progress, not just talk about problems.
Therapy with me is a space where you can be fully yourself while working toward meaningful change. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to grow, we will move at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

I take an integrative approach to therapy, using evidence-based frameworks to provide concrete tools and strategies for symptom reduction and deeper exploration. Are you feeling weighed down by unhealthy behaviors, anxious thoughts, or a critical inner voice that you just cannot seem to quiet? Often, the struggles we face today—like constant anxiety, depression, or feeling stuck—stem from the survival strategies and messages we picked up/leanred during a difficult childhood. If you are ready to redefine who you are on your own terms, create a new identity blueprint--you are in the right place.
My career has been built on helping people navigate deep-seated trauma. I spent years working extensively with foster youth, which gave me a profound understanding of childhood trauma. Today, alongside my private practice, I work on a frontline crisis line triaging severe emotional distress and suicidal ideation. This intense work has made me highly adept at sitting with people in their darkest, and heaviest moments. I excel at helping individuals interrupt overwhelming, negative thought loops and gently guiding them back to a place where they can remember they are safe, loved, worthy, and valued.
I am also a proud military veteran. This part of my identity led me to serve as a therapist in an inpatient drug rehabilitation center for veterans—a role that remains incredibly near and dear to my heart. Because of my lived experience, I understand the unique pressures, sacrifices, and invisible wounds that come with military life.
In our sessions, we will work together to uncover the old narratives holding you back and consciously rewrite them into positive, empowering beliefs. I am a firm believer that "we are what we think." Using practical, evidence-based tools (like CBT, DBT, and Narrative therapy), we will actively reshape your thought patterns. You do not have to carry this weight alone. Together, we will set reachable, realistic goals to help you find relief, clarity, and a much happier path forward.
I am a clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in behavioral healthcare, specializing in substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. In addition to clinical practice, I currently lead research and innovation efforts for a national behavioral healthcare organization and have previously served as an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. I am also a published author and regularly speak at regional and national conferences on mental health and addiction. These experiences inform my perspective, but therapy begins with understanding you. My approach is thoughtful, curious, and nonjudgmental, grounded in the belief that therapy works best when clients feel understood and hopeful about change.
Are you ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and lasting change? I am here to support you every step of the way. With a unique blend of compassion and practicality, I create a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your inner world, set achievable goals, and harness your true potential. Guided by a holistic perspective, I recognize that your journey towards authenticity and empowerment encompasses every aspect of your being – mind, body, and spirit.

My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and nonjudgmental. I also believe in being honest, encouraging, and empowering, especially when change feels difficult. I strive to create a safe space where you can share your heartbeat and the narrative of your story without allowing your past to define who you are today. Together, we can recognize your strengths, build upon your resilience, and help you move toward the life you desire and deserve.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief that I carry into every therapeutic relationship: You are worthy. You are strong. You are courageous.

Have you ever felt like you were busy doing all the things you thought would bring you a happy life, yet felt alone and disconnected from yourself and others?
