LMFT, 9 years of experience
New to Grow
I am committed to helping people regain a sense of purpose and greater understanding about what they are struggling with. I work to empower them to have some control in a chaotic world around or within them. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families throughout the greater San Diego area over the past nine years. I can offer a safe and non-judgemental space to discuss your issues where you can feel seen and heard. My aim will be to understand who you are and the world you are in to create more meaning as you begin to heal. Sometimes we can lose our way, lose sight of ourselves, or even put distance between those we love. I am passionate about helping people find their way back to themselves and work towards reconnecting with their family or community.
During our first session we will work together to explore your lived experience and identify some treatment goals you want us to work towards. It is normal to feel nervous. Therapy is a process we can build together. I will be here to support and guide you throughout it all.
My approach is attachment based as I find staying attuned to the person helps us both navigate the issues more effectively and learn more about the root experiences that shape our lives today. I like to use evidence based practices to manage the issues in people's lives. I pull from a mix of methodologies that helps to explore how our thoughts, emotions, and behavior are linked and how we can break free of some unhelpful patterns. Sometimes mindful approaches helps us get unstuck and the work could be more about acceptance of the situation one is facing.
I provide therapy to teens and adults struggling with a variety of issues in their lives. Whether it be navigating through difficult relationships, trying to manage daily worries, dealing with difficult days of depression, or struggling with trauma, I am here to support the challenges ahead.
I utilize CBT to assist my clients in understanding the link between thoughts, emotions and behaviors so they can break free from unhelpful patterns in their lives.

Attuning to my client's lived experience has been helpful in understanding how some of our early life events are impacting how we live our lives today.
DBT has been helpful in spaces where we can be experiencing two different things at once while trying to effectively manage our emotions and relationships around us.
