My name is Daria Datnoff, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and have worked in the therapeutic field since 2011. I have worked with a wide variety of populations, including, young children, adolescents, at-risk teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings. I believe that the human psyche is rooted in nature and that a reconnection with the natural world can be a catalyst for deep healing. I am experienced in an eclectic range of high-quality healing modalities including narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, nature therapy, and relational therapy.
Our first session will be about getting to know you. I will strive to understand your presenting concerns and outlining a plan to support you in achieving your goals.
I embody a therapeutic process that is collaborative, nurturing, intuitively guided, and rooted in ecological systems theory. I strive to combine compassion for individuals and the environment with inherent wisdom to deliver a high-quality healing experience that is unique for each and every person or family that I serve.
I love working with individuals across the lifespan. My clients are provided a platform to empower themselves, they have an idea of what they are struggling with, however, are unsure what to do about these struggles. They need some added support to "level-up" to be able to reach their full potential.
I base my practice on the belief that symptoms of disorders are rooted in impaired relationships yourself, with significant others, as well as the natural world. As a result, true healing will only occur within the context of relationship, and nature.
Narrative therapy is a tool I use to support people in putting their "life-story" together. You will be supported in identifying your current story, and then re-writing the problematic aspects of it. I like this process to develop life-affirming reframes, that support a new, empowered narrative of yourself.
I like to begin with the end in mind. I utilize aspects of solution focused therapy to support individuals in identifying their goals in the "here and now". This supports breaking a goal down into smaller, present-focused steps, someone can engage in to foster personal growth.
I pride myself on having a positive, life-affirming approach to healing. I embody a therapeutic process that is collaborative, nurturing, intuitively guided, and rooted in ecological systems theory-I strive to combine compassion for individuals and the environment with inherent wisdom to deliver a high-quality healing experience that is unique for each and every person or family that I serve.
