About me

Therapy for PTSD and Complex Trauma If you’re living with PTSD, complex trauma, childhood trauma, or anxiety, understanding your experiences is important, but insight alone doesn’t always create lasting change. Therapy can help you process what you’ve been through so it has less impact on how you feel, relate to others, and move through daily life. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut and Colorado, specializing in PTSD, complex trauma (CPTSD), childhood trauma, attachment wounds, and anxiety. I work with people who are struggling with the effects of trauma and want support feeling safer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves and their lives. My approach is warm, collaborative, and paced around your needs. I use EMDR, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy to help you process trauma rather than simply talk about it. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting what happened or becoming someone different. It means having more freedom from the ways trauma continues to affect you. If you’re ready to work through the past and feel more like yourself again, therapy can help.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our initial session, we'll begin by getting acquainted and establishing a comfortable environment. From there, we'll explore your goals and interests for therapy. This will provide a foundation for us to develop a personalized roadmap for our future sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My work is grounded in a holistic approach that recognizes the connection between the mind, body, and nervous system. Alongside evidence-based trauma therapies, I value practices that support healing as a whole person. My understanding of trauma is shaped not only by years of professional experience, but also by personal experience. That lived perspective allows me to appreciate how deeply trauma can affect every part of life and informs the compassion, patience, and authenticity I bring to my work.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I especially enjoy working with people who are ready to go beyond coping skills and explore the deeper roots of what they're experiencing. Many of my clients have been to therapy before and are looking for something different, like EMDR or other trauma-focused approaches that support lasting healing. If you're curious, open, and ready to do deeper work, I'd be honored to be part of that journey.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I am certified in EMDR and trained in Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems. I focus on the individual needs and structure our treatment planning around the goals of the individual. I prefer to work with individuals who have gone through therapy before and are wanting to explore EMDR and IFS.
