I work with adult women experiencing high-functioning anxiety & ADHD. Through action-oriented talk therapy and skill-building, you can achieve practical, long-term relief. You may struggle with self-doubt, perfectionism, peopIe-pleasing, and obsessive-compulsive tendencies. Navigating dating & relationships and managing anxious attachment may also be difficult. During sessions, you will learn skills to help break out of constant worry, fear, and "what-if" thought patterns.
During our intake, we will review your forms and measures, discuss your reasons for seeking counseling, and map out your goals for therapy to determine next steps.
lf you are ready to take the next step toward anxiety & ADHD management, let's taIk. Together, we'll create a roadmap to lead you back to the core of your authentic self: a calmer, more emotionally balanced, and self-assured You.
I additionally work alongside women looking to heal from "situationships", gain assertiveness skills, and reduce codependency & “masking” tendencies. We'll explore self-confidence, Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) traits, and practice daily nervous system regulation techniques.
A very effective approach for anxiety and OCD, I help you stay grounded in the present moment through challenging irrational beliefs, replacing them with healthy & more effective new beliefs, and we will take a directive and active approach to reducing the impact of negative, self-defeating thoughts and feelings.
Together, we can explore your attachment style in various relationships, how that style has been informed by earlier life experiences, and how we can move you toward a secure attachment style.
We will explore parts of your life/experience that you struggle to accept due to social conditioning, deeply ingrained beliefs, and more. We will deconstruct the internal voice that says we "should" be or feel a certain way, and empower you with new inner dialogue.
I help you reduce compulsions, avoidance, and rumination on obsessions through the use of ERP. With ERP, we will gently and gradually expose you to worries/fears in a way that does not flood you, but rather, allows you to tolerate discomfort/uncertainty more effectively, little by little. Eventually, you will have a greater tolerance to the anxieties and concerns that had been fueling OCD tendencies.
