As a licensed mental health counselor, I’m dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with
compassion and curiosity. My background in research psychology, counseling services, and forensic
psychology has given me a deep understanding of how our experiences shape who we are. I’ve worked in
both inpatient hospital settings and outpatient dual diagnosis residential programs, supporting people as
they build resilience, develop coping tools, and work toward meaningful personal growth.
I believe therapy should feel like a safe, judgment-free space where you can explore your thoughts,
emotions, and patterns openly. Together, we’ll focus on understanding your experiences and finding ways
to create lasting change that aligns with your goals and values.

I am a dedicated clinician with over 25 years of experience in the human services field, including the past 10 years providing counseling to diverse populations. I have worked with adolescents, children, trauma survivors, individuals experiencing homelessness, older adults, and those struggling with addiction, anxiety, and grief. Hello! I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts. I have my BA in psychology and MA in forensic mental health counseling. I have worked with several mental health organizations including emergency services, inpatient psychiatric hospital, and treatment based prison. I have worked with a variety of individuals experiencing acute mental health episodes, addiction, grief, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, etc. Since I have worked with a diverse client population, I have been exposed to how mental health conditions can present and how those mental health conditions can be stabilized. My main approaches to working with clients are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Existential Therapy because they are goal oriented. I believe it’s important for each client to set goals for themselves and be able to discuss these goals in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.
I’m a licensed psychotherapist working with adults who may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally unsettled beneath the surface. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, self-doubt, or persistent patterns they can’t quite untangle on their own.
My style is thoughtful, steady, and insight-oriented. I integrate practical tools for emotional regulation with deeper exploration of relational patterns and attachment dynamics. I believe therapy should feel both grounding and meaningful — a place where you can slow down, understand yourself more clearly, and begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you.
Clients often describe me as calm, direct, and attuned. I aim to create a space that feels safe enough for honesty and structured enough for real change. My work focuses not only on reducing symptoms, but on building emotional clarity, stability, and more secure ways of relating — to others and to yourself.

I work using a combination of short and long-term goals. However, I only currently work with 18+ year old individual clients.
I'm not sure what exactly brought you here, but I can guess it has something to do with seeking a positive change. Perhaps this is your first-time trying therapy or you are well versed in the process. No matter the reason or experience level I would like to offer you a safe space to let those feelings out and share them in a nonjudgmental space.
I’m a seasoned therapist with extensive experience supporting children, teens, and parents across school, community mental health, and addiction treatment settings. My approach is grounded in years of helping individuals, families, and groups navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based care.
I specialize in helping young people (ages 10–21) better understand themselves, identify their needs, and build practical skills that support emotional well-being, confidence, and resilience. My work emphasizes addiction prevention and empowering youth to navigate life’s challenges with greater self-awareness and balance.
Many of the young people I work with have been diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, or depression, and may struggle with self-esteem, peer relationships, or challenges at school and home. Together, we set meaningful treatment goals and work toward creating lasting, positive change in their daily lives.
While much of my work focuses on youth, I also work with parents navigating the transitions of parenthood, supporting children with mental health or neurodevelopmental diagnoses (such as ADHD), and addressing the impact of trauma or substance use within the family system.
Hi, I’m Joe. I’ve worked in the mental health field for 26 years across substance use treatment, outpatient care, and hospital settings. I’ve supported individuals and families through crisis, transition, and long-term growth.
I work well with teens, young adults, adults, and families who are navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, or major life changes. I also have extensive experience working with men who may struggle to express emotions directly and instead feel stuck in withdrawal, irritability, or self-doubt.
As a veteran, I understand the mindset and pressures that can come with military life. Across all of my work, I aim to provide a grounded, steady presence where honesty, insight, and meaningful change can take place.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 18 years of experience working with teens and adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and trauma. If you've made it this far, I know it wasn't easy. To make the decision to seek out help, no matter the reason, takes time and thought.
I have been in the behavioral health/mental health field for 15 years now specializing in healthcare management and behavioral health optimization. I know first hand that in order to get the most out of your long term therapeutic relationship you first have to take care of the other medical and psychosocial factors in your life. This may mean getting connected to a primary care physician best suited for you or finding a home care agency that can help out around the house. We all have things that take up space in our mind and schedules that make it hard to fully focus on the work it takes to fully feel better. Connect with me before long term therapy to help in these care management areas. We will work shorter term to manage some of these more pressing matters so your mind is clearer and better positioned to do some of the deeper work.
Welcome! I'm Carter (they/them), and it's wonderful to meet you.
Therapy is a huge step for some people, and I appreciate your vulnerability in looking for the provider that works best for you. The beginning can be challenging, and even a little awkward as you explore your new or growing relationship to therapy and yourself.
In my practice, I prioritize connection, honesty, and mutual understanding throughout our time together. Working predominantly with teenagers, I know feeling that you can be your authentic self in sessions is a must, and I strive to allow our space to be a place where someone can be themselves. I like to focus on your values, needs, and goals within our work, and ways to find our authentic selves and relationships as we grow.
Social landscapes can be especially challenging for teens and young adults, and as a provider, I work to find ways to facilitate open and honest dialogues between you and myself, and transferring those skills to the world outside our sessions.
I'm a therapist who works with individuals navigating addiction, men's issues, depression, and anxiety. I understand that life can feel overwhelming, stuck, or out of control—and that reaching out is a big first step.
I am now accepting clients ages 13-17 struggling with Anxiety & Depression, Peer Pressure & Bullying, Academic & Technology Stress, Identity & Sexuality, and Life Transition.
Whether you're looking for support through a difficult time, clarity around a specific issue, or motivation to make lasting changes, I'm here to walk alongside you in that process—with honesty, compassion, and direction.

Hello and Welcome! I am Colleen Barbosa. I have been working in the behavioral health field for over 10 years. Working in this field has always been my passion and I received my masters about 8 years ago.
Congratulations! You have taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time.
My name is Betsy and I am a licensed mental health clinician with over 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. Through my training and experience, I have developed a philosophy that simply listening, validating and being non-judgmental is “help.” However, to guide a patient’s growth in mental health treatment, it is important to challenge them in a non-threatening manner but to promote thought is necessary. Additionally, It is sometimes important to be the mirror that clients do not want to look in. Lastly, treatment should be collaborative and educate which means providing psycho-education information, written treatment work, and provide well rounded mental health guidance and support to help patient identify and achieve treatment goals.
Hi! I’m Stephanie! A Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping adults navigate through various issues with compassion and clarity. Together, we’ll work through the challenges of trauma, anxiety, depression, (aka living) with evidence-based strategies — not just to manage symptoms, but to create lasting changes. I have worked with a wide variety of populations; including college students/emerging adults, those in transition from separation/divorce, children, adolescents and their parents including children who have experienced trauma.
My day job is as a school adjustment counselor in a public high school. Prior to becoming an adjustment counselor I have worked in ABA, in schools as a support staff, and in a residential treatment center. My undergraduate degree is in Expressive Arts Therapy, which leans into creative processes to help in the therapeutic process. My graduate degree is in Mental Health Counseling with a School Adjustment Counseling certification. I enjoy working with clients to help support them in their healing, whatever that may look like.

Motherhood is a profound journey marked by both beauty and upheaval. Whether your path to this moment has been long-anticipated or unexpected, the transition into motherhood often brings a whirlwind of emotions. Anxiety and depression during pregnancy and the postpartum period are more common than many realize, with maternal depression being the leading complication of childbirth. The shift from your pre-motherhood identity to caring for a newborn can be one of the toughest transitions you’ll ever experience. As a dedicated mental health professional, I am passionate about supporting individuals through some of life's most significant and challenging transitions.
I offer various approaches, including talk therapy, art therapy, mindfulness and meditation practices, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). These methods are designed to help you express your feelings, redefine your identity, and find a sense of balance and well-being in this new chapter of your life.

I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life.
Hello, I'm Steve and kudos to you for embarking on this journey! For over 30 years, I have worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, low self esteem, and other issues. In addition to these kinds of issues, I will explore your strengths, wishes, goals, dreams, and your vision of your best self. As I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is important, I am committed to being a warm and authentic person when in sessions with you. To this end, I may share stories or lessons from my own life, may share observations or feelings in reaction to whatever you are doing or saying, and as appropriate, I like to infuse my sessions with humor, lightheartedness, and laughter (to balance off the frequent hardness and heaviness of therapy.) Looking forward to working with you.

My focus is on you and your goals, and ensuring I understand what you want to accomplish and what you need from therapy from the very first session. We will do frequent check ins to make sure I am doing what you need to fulfill your needs. We will work together to identify the therapeutic modalities that will work best for you. I want to create a space that is safe but will also push you when needed to achieve your goals.
