New to Grow
Hi, I’m Ashley! I specialize in working with individuals who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in painful relationship patterns, or navigating the weight of depression or grief. I have a particular interest in relationship dynamics, including codependency, attachment wounds, and difficulty setting boundaries. My clinical background includes working with eating disorders and in community mental health. My work approach is insight-oriented and grounded in the mind-body connection, while also being practical and direct when helpful.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will focus on building rapport, exploring your motivations/goals for therapy, and creating a space together when you can be yourself.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I do well with attuning to my client's unspoken messages and helping clients observe their patterns for deeper insight. I also like to bring humor into sessions when appropriate because it helps foster connection, growth and healing.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am well-suited to work with individuals who are ready to engage meaningfully in the therapeutic process. My clients are open to self-exploration, willing to examine long-standing patterns and beliefs while being prepared to consider new perspectives.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use person-centered therapy to offer a providing a warm, nonjudgmental space where my clients feel heard and understood. Together, we will build a therepeutic relationship built on trust and collaboration.
