Do you feel at times your distressing emotions are a non-stop express train in that it seems impossible to stop the train? Are there times you feel overwhelmed by your negative thoughts? Is it a challenge for you to manage your emotions? As a LMHC , I help individuals in developing healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions and learn how to identify/change unhelpful thought patterns that have a negative influence on their behavior and emotions.

My counseling approach is warm, open-minded, empathetic, empowering, and direct. My goal is to provide psychological safety and build a therapeutic alliance with my clients to facilitate their exploration of their thoughts, emotions and presenting concerns. Through our therapeutic collaboration, you will gain increased personal insights, adaptive coping techniques and building self-regulation skills.

My approach incorporates evidence-based techniques(Cognitive -Behavioral&Dialetical -Behavior modalities), strength- based interventions with mindfulness practice that facilitates the mind ,behavioral and body connection Whether you're experiencing life/work stressors, anxiety/depression or interpersonal issues, I'm here to facilitate your emotional healing and growth.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), I will help my clients recognize and understand the connection between their thoughts and feelings. I will facilitate my clients in letting go of ruminating worries that trapped them in rumination cycles and keep them experiencing anxiety and depression. I will facilitate my clients in reframing the role of anxiety and reducing symptoms to improve my client's overall functioning.
