New to Grow
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Worcester State University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Assumption University. Before moving into private practice, I worked at a non-profit agency serving a small town. This experience allowed me to support clients facing a wide range of issues and deepen my understanding of various mental health diagnoses.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session is really a “getting to know you” conversation. We'll talk about what brought you into therapy, explore some of your background, and begin to identify the goals you'd like to work toward. It’s a chance for us to get a sense of what it’s like to work together and to see if we’re the right fit. As a licensed therapist, my role is to provide counseling and therapeutic support for a range of issues. However, there are certain conditions and disorders that may fall outside the scope of my practice, and in these cases, I may refer you to a specialist or other healthcare provider with the appropriate expertise.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My practice is all about creating a relaxed, down-to-earth space where you don’t feel like you’re in a traditional therapy session. I want you to feel comfortable and at ease, like you’re in your own space. I understand that therapy can feel intimidating at first, so I work to keep things simple, approachable, and focused on what matters most to you.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I primarily work with adults who are navigating through a variety of issues that may include anxiety, depression, emotional distress, grief, and life transitions. I only work with ages 18+.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is a highly effective, evidence-based approach. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build practical coping skills, and make meaningful changes that lead to lasting improvement in emotional well-being.
Compassion Focused
My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe therapy works best when it's a partnership, so I work closely with clients to create a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, respected, and empowered.
