New to Grow
I am a trauma-informed provider who welcomes the opportunity to work together to meet your therapeutic goals. My priority is creating a space where we can work together on supporting and maintaining emotional wellness, mental clarity, purpose, and joy. I look forward to learning more about you and how therapy can be of help/healing in your life. I look forward to hearing from you.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I see our work as collaborative. In the first session, I look to get to know you while simultaneously creating the foundation for a safe/trusting relationship. We will spend some time talking about what brings you to treatment and how therapy can help you reach your goals. I will encourage you to take the session at your own pace.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am an empath who has always been drawn to helping others. All my work is trauma informed and my priority is being present in our work together so as to help you feel seen and heard. With years of experience supporting my clients, I have access to a variety of tools and strategies to offer in support of your well being and personal growth.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am comfortable working with diverse populations. My focus is on providing trauma-informed care to everyone, especially high-risk/high-need clients, those who struggle with mood disorders, and individuals in the LGBTQA+ community. I offer ideas/tools/strategies tailored to your identified needs using modalities such as CBT, Attachment Theory, Gender Affirming Care and Mind-Body work.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Many clients find it helpful to be grounded in their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Developing an ongoing awareness of how these aspects of the mind and body work together can be life changing.
Attachment-based
Exploring early relationships and how they influence and impact our emotional/perceptual landscape can be both healing and a useful tool in cultivating our current partnerships.
Gender-affirming therapy
Self acceptance and living authentically are integral to mental health and overall well being. Therapy can be a place where growth, healing and validation are components of building a strong foundation for daily living.
Mind-body approach
A balanced relationship between mind and body supports both physical and mental health. Learning tools/strategies to develop body consciousness and energetic awareness can help process trauma in safe, manageable ways.
