New to Grow
I'm LeAnna! Life can be unpredictable and overwhelming at times. Whether you’re adjusting to a major life change, navigating the challenges of parenting, or feeling weighed down by anxiety or depression, you’re not alone. I’m here to help you make sense of what you’re feeling and find your footing again. Starting therapy can feel scary, but you’re in the right place to take steps toward positive change and a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll create a safe space to connect and get to know each other. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, and I’ll learn more about your experiences so I can understand how to best support you. Together, we’ll explore what therapy can look like and tailor our approach to meet your goals and needs.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
With over 12 years of experience, I work with adults and adolescents to explore what’s going on beneath the surface and help you build tools to move forward. My approach combines Cognitive behavioral, person-centered and psychodynamic therapy, so you can gain insight and take meaningful steps toward change at your own pace.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with adults and adolescents who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or everyday stress. I work with clients who are motivated to gain insight into their thoughts and emotions, develop practical coping strategies, and take intentional steps toward their goals—whether that’s feeling more confident, managing stress more effectively, or creating a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help people manage anxiety and life stressors by identifying and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. I focus on building practical, everyday skills such as reframing negative thinking, problem-solving, and coping strategies, to help clients feel more confident and balanced when facing life’s challenges.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, and life stressors by building mindfulness, self-compassion, and clarity around what truly matters to them. Together, we focus on accepting difficult thoughts and feelings while taking meaningful steps toward a more fulfilling, values-driven life.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness-based approaches to help clients manage anxiety by increasing awareness of thoughts, emotions, and body sensations without judgment. This helps clients feel more grounded, present, and better able to respond to anxiety with calm and confidence.
Psychodynamic
I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients gain insight into how past experiences and unconscious patterns influence their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. By increasing self-understanding, clients can make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives and develop new coping mechanisms.
