Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
During our first session we will discuss confidentiality, explanation of therapy, explore concerns, complete assessment of needs and discuss next steps.
My greatest strengths being a mental health therapist are my ability to deeply understand and resonate with the feelings and experiences of my clients and being an attentive and reflective listener.
I serve people experiencing difficulties in their romantic relationships, such as communication problems, trust issues, and breakups. Clients who have experienced traumatic events or abuse and are seeking healing and coping strategies. Those struggling with self-doubt, lack of motivation, or low self-esteem who are looking to improve their self-image. Clients seeking a compassionate therapist to help them navigate various mental health challenges with personalized care.
I aim to help clients understand and change their thought patterns and behaviors. I have experience working with the client to identify specific problems and goals. This involves understanding the client's current issues, history, and the impact of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I educate the client about the principles of CBT, which focus on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Clients learn how their thoughts might be influencing their feelings and behaviors in unhelpful ways.
I encourage the client to pay attention to their internal experience in the present moment without judgment. This involves listening to their own thoughts and feelings as they explore their ambivalence about change.
