Experienced clinician ready to help you! I have been practicing since 2006 and am clinically licensed since 20I0. I’m here to support you in making this journey meaningful and personally valuable. I offer a listening ear, a gentle but direct approach, and provide insightful feedback for you to move forward in creating the life you desire. We often think that we cannot control how we fell into maladaptive thinking patterns. This is not true! A greater self-understanding can lead to meaningful change in how one relates to themselves and others. Personally, I am a multicultural individual born in the US, who was raised by immigrant parents. I had to navigate multiple conflicting cross-cultural dynamics growing up, so if you woul like support in that area, I get it.

I'm self aware, having chosen a pathway of self exploration to become my best self. I am a survivor of my story, who has always known the importance of never surrendering to any situation life hands me. My resilience and positivity have guided my decisions to choose fighting like hell to be the greatest version of myself. I love laughter, and always make sure to not take myself to seriously. I live passionately with growing self esteem as a result of having the highest priority on SELF LOVE. I am a natural empath having helped many clients to navigate through their hurdles, with much success. My treatment approach will always require my clients to be prepared for the action phase of their journey. Many clients that I have mentored with eating compulsions have had favorable outcomes as a result of our therapeutic relationship. I am a survivor of acting out with food, including a period of 17 years of battling bulimia, and a lifetime of searching for PEACE from the addiction of food. Since October 2004 I have lived in recovery, with no episodes of bulimic behaviors, and a healthy relationship with food beyond my wildest dreams. I have found the PEACE I have been searching for which motivates me to help others to live in a healthy body. I have shared this struggle to allow you a deeper understanding of my personal story. I believe everything I have survived have taught me life lessons that have allowed me to see the humanity within all those that I cross paths with, keeping me non-judgemental, and filled with humility. I have the skills to help you too, I believe that is why I'm here.

I’m Osvaldo Santiago, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Massachusetts with over 10 years of experience supporting adults on their path toward greater clarity, healing, and self-acceptance. My work is grounded in the belief that therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, safe, and empowered, especially if you’ve felt overlooked, misunderstood, or disconnected in other parts of your life. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I bring a calm, nonjudgmental presence to the therapy room, and I meet you where you are- whether you’re navigating anxiety, cultural identity stress, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, life transitions, or past trauma. In sessions, I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. These approaches offer structure and flexibility, helping us identify what’s getting in the way and build tools to support your growth and well-being. That said, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model, I stay adaptable and responsive to what you need most in the moment. Outside of therapy, I value the same things I support my clients in cultivating: meaningful relationships, mindfulness, resilience, and space to breathe. I believe in showing up fully, both as a clinician and as a human being, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate whatever comes next.

I believe healing begins by creating a safe and sacred space where individuals can fully reconnect with their authentic selves. I have nearly a decade of clinical experience and specialize in helping clients heal attachment wounds, navigate complex emotions, and reclaim their inner strength after trauma, grief, or significant life transitions. My therapeutic approach blends depth-oriented psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, and mind-body awareness, recognizing that true healing must involve both the emotional and the unconscious layers of experience. My style is warm but direct, and I strive to offer my clients a steady hand as they learn to navigate their inner world with greater self-trust, self-compassion, and emotional resilience. I work especially well with clients who feel “stuck” between who they once were and who they are becoming — offering the insight, patience, and guidance needed for profound transformation.

Are you going through a personal challenge or major life transition? Do you need a safe space to have your experiences affirmed and validated? Do you feel overwhelmed by your emotions and in need of support? Have you considered speaking to someone but are unsure of how to begin? Wherever you are in your journey, I want to congratulate you on exploring possibilities to receive help. Therapy, like anything new or unknown, can feel scary. When Wendy was learning how to fly in Peter Pan, her fear of “what if I fall?” was met with Peter’s response of “oh, darling, what if you fly?” Not only did she fly, but she also transformed! My therapeutic approach is gentle, warm, and trauma-informed to ensure your comfort every step of the way. I listen attentively and non-judgmentally, welcoming your authentic self. I am a licensed clinical social worker, and have been working with people who wanted to make some changes in their lives for more than 25 years. Together we've focused on the variety of challenges they were experiencing - depression, anxiety, family or work stressors, relational and communication issues. I also work with people who have experienced trauma, or who have chronic medical conditions, as well as those who are in a difficult situation, or who have lost someone close to them. My counseling style is conversational and interactive, and incorporates a cognitive-emotional-behavioral, solution-focused, body-based approach. We work at a speed comfortable for you, and one that respects your values, your culture and beliefs, your goals. Everyone deserves support whether they are working to make changes in their life or deal with changes they didn't choose. If you've identified some areas in your life that might benefit from your attention and intervention, I'd like to work with and support you, too.

I bring something to individual and couples therapy that is rare today and not from a text book, that is lived experience. In drawing from different evidence based schools of thought in combination with my lived experiences we will employ such modalities of therapy such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Adversity and struggle are situations that are common. The goal to avoid both would be ideal but that is not reality. Peace and calmness in the mist of adversity and struggle is a possible reality and what we will strive to help you achieve.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience working with people from all walks of life. My work has been in community health centers, medical and psychiatric hospitals, community mental health programs, substance abuse treatment programs, and in private practice. I pride myself in being easy to talk to, a great listener, and an excellent "asker" of the right questions to help people move out of limited or stuck patterns of thinking and being. I have learned so much from doing this work and have also benefitted greatly from being a client of psychotherapy myself, so I am a firm believer in our innate ability to make positive changes where needed as well as to come to a greater level of acceptance and comfort with where and who we already are.

*Action-oriented Therapist* Most anxiety and depression evolve from procrastination, which leads to inaction. I have the ability to help people who are looking to take action on their goals which require behavioral change. Change becomes natural once a person understands their unintentional programming from childhood. I do not prescribe medication; however, I can refer you to a Grow Provider if need be. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts and I love helping people reach their maximum potential! I spent 23 years in the military travelling the world before I retired and decided to commit the rest of my life toward helping others. I have been providing therapy successfully for over seven years with many successes for clients who are looking to do the work necessary to live their best life. You can read my reviews on healthgrades.com that have been posted by former clients. If you are ready to put in the effort, you will make progress!

My name is Lindsay, I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 7 years of experience helping clients learn more about themselves and the world they live in. I pay special attention to the therapeutic relationship in addition to helping clients learn tangible skills to manage difficult times. I believe it is vital to understand a person's context in order to understand the ways they have grown to live in their environment. I have expertise in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, addiction or are justice involved, though I am open to working with anyone who is looking for support no matter the presenting issue. I have worked with individuals from varied backgrounds and identities and I appreciate the importance of considering cultural context in the therapy space.

Welcome and thank you for your interest! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island with a Masters's degree in Social Work from Boston College. I have 20 years of experience helping clients work through personal challenges. I focus on developing and fostering a safe, non-judgmental space in which clients can more comfortably explore their struggles and barriers to self-fulfillment. My approach to therapy is integrative and draws on multiple modalities (e.g. cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, trauma-informed, interpersonal, mindfulness-based), thus allowing me to tailor how I work with each client as an individual. I am passionate about treating survivors of all types of trauma and have advanced training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy. I help clients with depression and anxiety, grief and loss issues, and have over 15 years of hospital-based social work experience, helping clients work through end-of-life issues, sudden traumatic losses, pregnancy losses, infertility & difficult diagnoses. I am a former EMT and have previously worked with veterans and public servants. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey!

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by Massachusetts rather than a city like Boston?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Massachusetts from Springfield to Cape Cod! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Massachusetts.

Will my therapist take OptumHealth Complex Medical Conditions?

Yes! If you use OptumHealth Complex Medical Conditions you’ll be asked to verify your Member ID at the time you book the appointment. However, if you don’t have OptumHealth Complex Medical Conditions you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

What are the "Clients say I'm" badges?

Grow Therapy asks patients about their experience with therapists after they have had a certain number of sessions. After enough responses, we add those characteristics to their profiles to help you find the best online therapists for you. We're still working on collecting this information from all our therapists.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What to expect during your first session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs.

Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
